UPDATE: The Province of Manitoba has just completed a major upgrade to the Kemnay Bridge. Giant metal teeth have been installed that will rip apart anything that comes in contact with them. These teeth are made from super strength titanium and are expected to last for 25 years.

Speaking anonymously, a Manitoba Highways employee declared “This should solve all the issues and over height vehicles will no longer jam up under the bridge. Instead they will be torn to pieces and able to continue on their way. “

Manitoba Highways has announced that no additional signage will be placed to warn drivers of this “improvement “ and it is up to drivers to drive responsibly.

“We hope that after a few vehicles are ripped to pieces, that the word will get around and no further action will be necessary. “

Kemnay Bridge has been a target a number of times and is also going to be used for missile testing by the US Department of War as it seems to be able to withstand almost anything.

Hello everyone! I’m Doug Kippen, and I’m excited to share some big news with the local trucking community.

After 20 years behind the wheel as a Class 1 driver, I’ve had the privilege of hauling everything from van trailers and bulk fluid to Super B and over-dimensional loads. My career has taken me all over Canada, with a heavy focus on the unique challenges of mountain driving.

For the past two and a half years, I’ve been proud to serve as a driver instructor for United Driver Training here in Brandon. With the recent announcement that the branch is closing, I was faced with a big decision about my next steps.

After a lot of thoughtful discussion with my wife, we decided that we weren't ready to stop supporting the next generation of drivers. To fill the void left by United’s departure, we have decided to open our own driving school right here in Brandon!

We are currently working hard to get everything set up and are looking forward to bringing high-quality, experienced-based training to our community.
