The Green Spot in Brandon just got a lot greener! Lot’s of green inside and now with a sprinkle of “green” on top. 100 solar panels totalling 50Kw of solar energy will be a nice energy offset and provide protection from continuous rising hydro rates.

We had a nice little run of projects in Brandon, Shilo, Douglas and Carberry over the last couple weeks. With the Public Utilities board finalizing a 4% rate hike this year, followed by 3.5% in 2027 and 3% in 2028, it’s never been a better time to offset the increases by investing in solar! 😎

Pilot Mitchell was sent out to get some drone shots of a few projects we completed last month. These systems have been cooking up some serious solar energy with the recent sunshine and long summer days! 😎

Westman Solar goes Westcan - Western Canada that is! A nice change of scenery installing a 10 kw system overlooking the Georgia Straight. Plus an added bonus having an ex employee to help out with the project! ❤️
A huge thanks to Bruce from SonSolar for helping me coordinate the project with BC Hydro.
