We sat down with Blessing and IB Eze, founders of Hadriel's Cleaning Service, a cleaning company proudly serving Brandon. They are one of the success stories behind our Lending Circles program, which has now helped two local businesses get fully up and running.

Lending Circles gives entrepreneurs facing barriers to traditional financing including newcomers, Indigenous entrepreneurs, and rural business owners access to interest-free loans and peer support from a group of fellow members. It's a community-based model that helps people build credit, access capital, and take an active role in their own economic future.

This August long weekend, we honour the extraordinary legacy of Terry Fox, a Canadian whose courage, determination, and selfless vision continue to inspire generations.

In observance of Terry Fox Day, Community Futures Westman will be closed on Monday, August 3. We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, August 4.

As we remember Terry's Marathon of Hope, we are reminded of the strength of communities working together to create positive change. We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on his remarkable legacy and the lasting impact he has made across Canada.

CF Westman visits VDK Services

Great to connect in person with our client VDK Services in Beresford,MB. We have been in regular contact, supporting the VDK brand as it continues to grow. The business.

VDK is a locally owned regional transport and delivery business providing provincial rideshares, medical transit, and grocery drop-offs across Manitoba, with sister operations like VDK Hotshots handling heavy freight.
