Fall's bringing a handful of legislative changes for Manitoba employers, and childcare centres are no exception - so let's make sure none of these catch you off guard.

Starting September 1st, employers need to provide free menstrual products in the workplace. October 1st brings a minimum wage bump to $16.40/hour, plus new limits on when you're allowed to ask for a sick note. And if you missed it back in June, there's also a new unpaid leave for employees going through adoption or surrogacy.
