While our accountants were away on a well-deserved trip to the Las Vegas desert this June, as can be the case this time of year, they were experiencing high temperatures compounded with the dry humidity from the desert.

Knowing that this summer they're calling for very warm and at times dangerously high heat in Southern Ontario, an idea sprung upon them when fellow small business owners, the Xurieb family, of Lonnies on Market posted about their soup kitchen and food pantry.

Our accountants immediately reached out to speak with the rest of the team (Alisha, Renee, and Christine) to propose making a weekly pledge for cases of water to those in need in the Downtown Brantford area.

Today marked the first fulfillment of 10 cases of water to be dropped off weekly to help support the cause being spearheaded by the Xurieb family.

For the past 15 years, the Grand River Council on Aging has been a powerful advocate for older adults across Brantford, Brant County, Six Nations of the Grand River, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Through education, advocacy, community engagement, and support, they have helped create a more age-friendly and inclusive community for everyone.

Tonight, thanks to our awesome host Joshua Wall, the team at Premier Professional Accountants Inc. got to sponsor another clean comedy show. This time it was a fundraiser for two amazing boys who are hoping to travel to Austria with a select ball hockey team.

Today we’re celebrating a one-year anniversary on our team at Premier Professional Accountants Inc.

Renee Gibaldi joined us during one of the busiest times of the year, under circumstances that called for a bit of an unconventional hiring decision. From day one, she brought an energy and work ethic that has truly set her apart.

Over the past 12 months, Renee has embraced every challenge that’s come her way and has grown tremendously in her role as both a bookkeeper and administrator. She has become a standout member of our team, earning the title of Alisha’s star trainee while continuing to build strong working relationships across the office.

One of the most rewarding moments came this morning as we celebrated with some of her favorite treats from Crumbl bakery. Renee shared, “Clients are starting to call and ask for me directly now, they’re trusting me with my answers and guidance, and I really feel there’s a relationship being built there.” That’s exactly what we strive for, a team member who takes pride in their work and becomes a trusted resource for our clients.

Renee also plays an important role in holding our leadership team accountable, ensuring we maintain strong turnaround times and uphold our internal standards, especially during a demanding tax season. That level of ownership and accountability is something we value deeply.

Today is International Clients Day, and we want to say one simple thing, thank you.

As we work toward our 10th year in business, and continue expanding with a second office, we’ve been doing a lot of reflecting. Building Premier Professional Accountants wasn’t easy. It took long hours, persistence, and a deep commitment to taking care of our clients.

Looking back, it’s clear that our clients have always been the heart of everything we do.

From our early days to now, growing into a team of five serving both Brantford and St. Catharines, we’ve come full circle. We’ve grown, learned, and evolved, but one thing has never changed, our appreciation for the people and businesses who trust us every day.

We truly wouldn’t be here without you.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. We’re excited for what the future holds as we continue to grow together across the Niagara region.

For the past six weeks, our lead administrator, LaFantaisie , has been proudly supported by the Premier Professional Accountants team while she volunteered as Volunteer Coordinator for Kids Can Fly Canada's Storybook Breakfast 📚🧸

The Storybook Breakfast is a magical event where story time comes to life, young children are welcomed into an interactive world created by local volunteers dressed as their favourite storybook characters. It’s joyful, engaging, and truly unforgettable for young families.

We’ve felt for a long time that this event was the perfect place to bring out our very own Premier Count, and Alisha brought that vision to life by representing our team onsite in full character, creating smiles and memories all morning long 🧛‍♂️✨

A huge thank you to Becca and the Directors of Kids Can Fly Canada for welcoming us into such a meaningful event.
