Time flies….
Another academic year passed.
Dear Angad,
Kindergarten, being a first learning grade holds a precious place in my heart. I still remember your first day at school(lots of tears). But I would be forever grateful to the wonderful teachers you got who made your kindergarten journey wonderful right from your second day in JK. My heart swells with pride seeing you have learned so much in just two years. In these 2 years I have loved watching you grow up to such a creative, smart and fun kid. I remember how hard it was for me when you just started and you have to do so many things yourself in the classroom for the first time. But it has been pleasure watching you grow and learn in these 2 years. Angad, mumma is so proud of the tremendous gains you have made in Senior Kindergarten.
I am so happy that you are Kindergarten Graduate.👨‍🎓
The sad part is School has stopped doing Kindergarten Graduation, but the happiest part is we manage to do it at home(when mom is so much of a photo person, wanted to have all the milestones captured).

A father told his daughter, "Congrats on your graduation. I bought you a car a while back. I want you to have it now."
"Before I give it to you, take it to a car dealer in the city and sell it. See how much they offer.”
The girl came back to her father and said: "They offered me $10,000 dollars because it looks very old"
Father said: "Ok, now take it to the pawn shop".
The girl returns to her father and said: "The pawn shop offered $1,000 dollars because it's a very old car and a lot of work needs to be done".
The father told her to join a passionate car club with experts and show them the car. The girl drove to the passionate car club. She returned to her father after a few hours and told him, “Some people in the club offered me $100,000 dollars because its a rare car that's in good condition.”
Then the father said, "I wanted to let you know that you are not worth anything if you are not in the right place. If you are not appreciated, do not be angry, that means you are in the wrong place."
Don't stay in a place where no one sees your value.
Know your worth and know where you are valued

And as Bernard Hopkins has well said,

“If you don’t know your own value, somebody will tell you your value, And it’ll be less than you’re worth.”

A note to my boy for accomplishing precious milestone…
(First year at School - Grade JK: September 07, 2022 - June 28, 2023)

I am feeling overwhelmed while writing this. With mixed emotions, I want to congratulate you Angad for successfully completing the very first year of your school - Grade JK. Passing through the memory lane, I am jotting down my feelings and emotions I felt on September 07, 2022 your first day at school. Those 35 minutes would stay in my head & heart forever. You were excited for the first day at school thinking that I would be staying with you there. But finally when you realised that you have to leave my hand to hold the hand of your teacher it was painful for you. Being a mom, it was an emotional moment seeing you crying. But like everyone else, like every other child you had to leave mom’s comfort zone to enter into the much wider world to explore more, to learn more. Still remember how unwilling you were to enter into the classroom. And your ECE was sitting with you at the threshold of the classroom door. How helplessly I was watching you and finally I called him and asked him to take you inside, no matter how forcefully and divert your attention to the toys inside. And mum’s idea worked, you got indulged with the toys. And at that point I was able to move my feet to come home.
Dear Angad, mamma is so proud of you for the fact that you are such an adaptive child. You amazed me the very next day, when you crossed the school gate without a single tear in your eyes. I would be forever proud of you for the positive feedback I received from your teachers for the whole school year. We have witnessed so much growth in you and for that I would be forever grateful to the wonderful teachers you got in your school.
Besides that we both created so many wonderful memories in our study time at home. I love the way you enjoy it. In a nutshell, I would say it was such a productive year, so much you learnt from school, from me and so much I learnt from you.
May you keep on moving on the path of learning!!
I wish you much more success for many more accomplishments.
