The washing process begins! We received over 200 pounds of wetsuits from our bin at Lawrencetown Surf Co. This will provide over 20 hours of paid employment to our workers. Thanks to Tammy for washing the first batch in prime drying conditions. Your old wetsuit can make a real difference!

THANKS to Jean-Luc for picking up and delivering this time around! Our drop off bin at Lawrencetown Surf Co. is full once again and we are looking for someone who would be willing to pick it up from the shop and bring it to us in Bridgewater. As a thank you, grab yourself an item from our wetsuit recycling products rack! Thanks to everyone who dropped their suits in the bin, it allows us to help keep wetsuits out of the landfill and to provide employment opportunities for our participants.

We, along with Surfrider Foundation Atlantic Canada, are excited to announce that we have our first pop-up wetsuit collection bin at , 2456 Agricola Street in Halifax. You can find our bin near the surfboards, drop in a suit or grab a brochure and please spread the word. Our bin will be at this location until August 3. While you are at it, might as well grab a coffee and a cookie! Thank you to Cafe Byron for supporting our program, whose mission is to keep wetsuits out of the landfill and to provide paid employment to those who recycle neoprene.

Our used wetsuit rack has been replenished. Stop by to pick up a suit for the summer and help us to pay our workers for the work they do recycling wetsuits. Prices from $5-$90. We have a couple of men's large, one medium, kids 12 and 14 and women's 6, 9/10, 12, 4 and 2 diving wetsuits. Also a selection of boots, gloves and mitts at $5 per pair. Check out our products made from recycled neoprene as well as t-shirts and ball caps while browsing our shop. If you have any wetsuits that are ready to be recycled or you wish to donate for resale please drop them in our bin at 655 King Street in Bridgewater.
