Our Cable Upstream Provider will be performing scheduled maintenance on its fibre network on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM EDT.

This maintenance may affect Truespeed Cable Internet customers only. During the maintenance window, the expected loss of service can be up to 30 minutes.

Mallorytown Talks is starting another exciting season of presentations concerning the history of the local area. On October 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Mallorytown Community Centre, Mr. Stephen Heaton will kick off the 2026/2027 season with a presentation titled "Sermon on the Mint". This is the story of his family's mint which supplied currency to the Front of Yonge, Canada and the world since 1850. Imagine, a family mint. Admission is $5.00 at the door with refreshments to follow. Sponsored by the Thousand Islands River Heritage Society and the Mallory Coach House Historical Committee, proceeds go to support the Mallory Coach House Museum

Cheese. What's not to like?

We don't usually do three uploads a day but this one is worth making a change. Dave and Sandra Wells have completed their fourth book by writing a history of cheesemaking in Leeds County. "Cheez Pleez" will be presented at the book launch happening from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Mallory Coach House Museum, 1523 County Rd. 2, Mallorytown, on October 18, 2026. Books are $30.00 each, cash only please. Refreshments (maybe cheese?) will be served. Check out the poster below.

Holiday Notice: Labour Day Closure

Please be advised that the Truespeed office will be closed on Monday, September 7th, as our team takes time to celebrate Labour Day with their families. We will return to our normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 8th.
