Another great event is coming soon to Mallorytown. On Saturday August 22 the annual Mallorytown Village Fair is happening. All kinds of vendors, artisanal demonstrations, food, music and fun will be available. Admission is free, parking is free and everyone is welcome. Please see the attached poster for more details. If you haven't seen it yet the Mallory Coach House Museum will be open on Saturday and Sunday. Come on in and check out the Mallory Glassworks room, our cut glass collection and the rest of the local artifacts on display. Be sure to visit the Community Centre for the gardening and craft competitions upstairs. Music by County Road 5 and Mel Hunt. Animal petting, bubbles and magic evrywhere. Did I mention admission is free? Please bring a donation of non-perishable food items (or cash) for the area food banks. See you there.

Come and enjoy a blueberry dessert, fresh blueberries, ice cream, a drink and Mel Hunt's music, only $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under. All proceeds go to support the Mallory Coach House Museum. Bring your chairs and stay a while. The event goes rain or shine. Tents will up and waiting for you. See you there. We are currently tracking a widespread cable outage affecting the Cogeco Last Mile network. If you are on a Truespeed Cable Internet plan, your connection is likely down right now as a result.

What we know so far:

The Cause: This is an upstream issue with the Cogeco network infrastructure.

Status Updates: Cogeco’s own outage reporting site is currently offline, either due to the network failure itself or high traffic volumes.

Our team is actively monitoring the situation and pushing for updates. We will share more information here as soon as we get official word on an ETR (Estimated Time of Repair).
