Jones Neon Displays

Jones Neon Displays We can help build your brand today. Originally, they were located in a garage in the North end of Hamilton, Ontario.

Here at Jones Neon Displays (aka Jones Neon Signs), we have been designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing all kinds of signage across Canada since 1941. Jones Neon Displays Limited (aka Jones Neon Signs) was founded in 1941 by Raymond Jones Senior as a sign service company and manufacturer of non-illuminated signs. The first illuminated sign was manufactured in 1956. Then company became

known for quality custom signage in Southern Ontario. In 1965, the company re-located to a 14, 000 square foot facility in the East end of Hamilton, expanding their market as the Niagara Peninsula grew and began doing more work in the Toronto area. By 1985, the company had obtained two Ontario based accounts and decided to move to Burlington, Ontario because of logistics. Jones Neon Displays moved into a 35, 600 square foot facility on 3.5 acres of land in 1985. In the early 1990’s the company obtained a number of National Accounts growing across Canada, hence our motto came to be Quality Custom Signage across Canada. Jones Neon Displays Limited has a complete service, installation and manufacturing network across Canada. While still manufacturing quality custom spectaculars, the company can implement large Corporate changeovers of signage from start to finish. Today no project is too large or too small for Jones Neon displays to handle.

Channel something great! Channel letters are one of the most popular sign types out there — bold, versatile, and highly customizable. Typically made from aluminum with LED lighting and a translucent plastic face, they offer serious visibility and brand impact.

First introduced in the 1970s thanks to advances in metal and acrylic fabrication, channel letters quickly became a go-to for storefronts and shopping centers.

By the early 2000s, LEDs replaced neon as the industry standard — making signs thinner, lighter, more energy-efficient, and easier to maintain.

Today, you’ll find them in styles like front-lit, halo-lit, open-face, and combo-lit — each offering a unique look that can match any brand.

Whether you're a global retailer or a local business, channel letters remain a powerful choice for professional signage that gets noticed.

That means they pass your building 50+ times a month.
Good signage does more than show your address. It helps people recognize your business, builds trust, and signals that you’re a professional and reliable option.

Whether it’s a pylon, monument, or wayfinding sign, visibility builds familiarity.
