The HTM Sensors WQS1 Series Miniature Flatpack Sensors are ultra-rugged, low-profile inductive proximity sensors engineered specifically to withstand heavy physical impact, robotic assembly lines, and severe welding environments. Operating reliably in extreme conditions, these heavy-duty sensors feature an extended operating temperature range of -25 °C to +85 °C.
They feature a highly durable, one-piece stainless steel face and body that protects sensitive internal electronics from physical damage. For maximum longevity in hazardous environments, they offer high environmental immunity by integrating Weld Field Immune (WFI) technology and an All-Metal-Sensing (AMS) design. They are heavily optimized for weld-duty applications, incorporating weld spatter resistant, ceramic-coated MetalHead™ faces or SpatterGuard™ pigtail cables to prevent slag accumulation and burns. Additionally, their flat, space-saving rectangular profile provides a high-utility solution for tight or constrained industrial mounting spaces.
