This Father’s Day weekend felt extra special because I was able to celebrate with the two men who have shaped my life in so many ways.

To my dad, Ziggy, thank you for the sacrifices you made when you left Poland to create a life rooted in freedom, opportunity, and possibility for our family. Now that I’m older, I appreciate even more how difficult it must have been to start over from scratch at 40 in a new country, without speaking the language, while working to create a better future for your family. Your courage, resilience, hard work, and unwavering love showed me what is possible. Thank you for always putting us first, believing in me, and encouraging me to dream bigger.

And to my husband Dave, thank you for being the most incredible father to Maya, Daniel, and Matthew. You are truly their hero (and mine too!).
From coaching soccer since they were barely walking, continuing the legacy your dad began when he came from Croatia with only $18 in his pocket and helped start a Croatian soccer league in Canada, to teaching them how to fish, hunt, cook, and appreciate life’s simple joys, you have given them confidence, values, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Thank you for teaching our kids to think critically, ask thoughtful questions, and have the confidence to respectfully challenge ideas when something doesn’t feel right. Most importantly, thank you for helping raise such good humans.

Thank you for being an amazing father, husband, business partner, and best friend. Thank you for believing in me and my ideas, often before I could see them myself.
While I can proudly make one mean pork schnitzel, I leave most of the culinary adventures to my dad and Dave. Looking back, I think I may have manifested both of them and their delicious cooking.
I feel like one very lucky girl to have both of you in my life. Happy Father’s Day. I love you both with all my heart. ❤️

An email just landed in my inbox and I almost fell off my chair!!

If you had told me 10 years ago that I would one day be a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year, I probably would have laughed.

For more than 20 years, I built my career in the corporate world. I loved leading teams, developing people, creating strategies, and helping brands grow. Entrepreneur was never a title I imagined for myself.

Then six years ago, after a lot of soul searching, vision boarding, and conversations about the life we wanted to create, Dave and I took a leap and started Blue Water Performance Ltd.

Like most entrepreneurs, the journey has been filled with excitement, uncertainty, and plenty of moments where we simply had to just figure things out as we went.

What makes this recognition even more interesting is a recent conversation with my dad. He reminded me that as a little girl spending summers with my grandparents in Poland, I helped make honey and then sold honey and fruit from their farm at local markets. I had completely forgotten about that version of me.

Maybe entrepreneurship was in my blood all along.

Today, I am incredibly honoured to be named a Finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the CanadianSME National Business Awards.

While my name may be on this nomination, this recognition belongs to so many people who have been part of the journey. My husband Dave, my family, mentors, clients, friends, and this incredible community who continue to support, encourage, and trust me.

Thank you for allowing me to do work I genuinely love every day!

One year ago, She Soars™ Collective was simply an idea.
An idea to create a space where heart-led women could come together to learn, grow, be supported, and build meaningful connections while creating businesses and lives they love.

Today, as we celebrate our 1-Year Anniversary, I find myself reflecting on just how far we’ve come. What started as a vision has grown into a thriving global community of women from four countries who continue to show up for themselves and one another every single week.

Over the past year, I have watched members launch businesses, new products and services, increase revenue, hire teams, earn promotions, step into leadership positions, write books, host retreats, speak on stages, grow their confidence, get healthier, happier and stronger, expand their networks, and say yes to opportunities they once only dreamed about.

I’ve witnessed women become recognized and awarded in their industries, create more freedom in their lives, build lasting friendships, and support one another through both personal and professional milestones.

Yesterday’s She Soars Connect event was another beautiful reminder of what is possible when incredible women come together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and committed to taking action. I am already seeing those 48-hour commitments being delivered on.

I honestly do not even know where to begin.
Today I found out that I have been nominated for the 2026 Women Empowerment Awards in the Mentorship Award category!

As I sat down to process this news, I felt emotional thinking about how I got here. All of the amazing people I was lucky to support through my company, the coffee chats, the coaching conversations, the tears and hugs (when not on Zoom), the breakthroughs, the courage, the dreams, the moments where someone finally started believing in themselves again and noticed real progress in their efforts.
This recognition means so much to me because the work I do has always come from my heart. Through my company Blue Water Performance Ltd. and She Soars Collective, my mission has never been just about business, instead it has always been about helping people feel ready to be seen, supported, empowered, and reminded of their own genius, especially the incredible women inside my collective and community.

And sometimes there are those moments when we do not always know if our work is truly making a difference. Sometimes there are ideas and there are crickets and sometimes doubt quietly creeps in to put us back in our place. And then there are moments like earlier today when someone like Serafina shared in her comment in response to my recent post that my content deeply resonated with her, or moments like this nomination that remind me I am on the right path and that I should continue to trust the process.
I read every message (minus the weird ones by bots or keyboard warriors) and I carry your words with me more than you probably realize. And when those not so perfect moments of self doubt come up, all those comments, DMs and little reminders along the way mean everything.

To every person who trusted me and invested in my coaching, joined a workshop, came to an event, supported my vision, my programs, my She Soars membership, my podcast, my latest book Her Iconic Self or simply said a nice word and cheered me on along the way, thank you. Like really, I mean it, I THANK YOU!!
