This piece deserves a story. She was on her way to the dumpster and when I saw her serpentine drawers, I wanted to give her another chance. The drawers were non-functional but after I won the struggle of opening them I discovered some interesting items. We all have a spot to collect items dear to us and I suspect the same on these items. Hand painted pictures, bible dated and signed 1943, a scripture with a hand written note on back that says I like this little card, cuff links, drafting book, matches and a pl***oy tie.
This beautiful dresser received the full Monty. Dovetailed drawers are now in working condition and slide smoothly, two drawers have new floor bottoms, original hardware polished back to original state, top has been stripped and sanded. Painted in the cool neutral colour Annie Sloan country grey. Perfect for a kitchen as a coffee station, entry way or bedroom.

He was steps away from heading to the dumpster. Broken k***s, bulletproof varathane, non functioning drawers and dirty. All his drawer floors and mirror were disassembled stripped, sanded and cleaned. After the old varathane was stripped and sanded from body, I was left with a gorgeous ash wood grain. After applying an oil based wax and buffed to a low sheen his grain popped and to complete his look new hardware has been installed. Drawers now slide like butter, inside has been conditioned, backside is treated for easy cleaning and mirror in good condition. (One small spot of aging)
This piece is a perfect addition to any bedroom. Solid ash wood, impeccable construction and will live on for years to come.
Meet William…he measures in at 69”H (top of mirror). 42”W. 20 1/2 D
