I deal with anxiety every single moment of every single day. Sometimes it’s debilitating & other times I am really good at managing it. Therapy helps, post-it notes all around my house with motivational quotes help. Meditation helps too.
There’s a lot of ‘talk’ about things like meditation & other mental health exercises but for most people it’s hard to actually put it into practice, (*ahem* hello mamas - I’m talking to you!) I speak from personal experience when I say that it can be so very rewarding. One of my regular guided meditations says, “By letting go, it all gets done”. Repeat that to yourself a few times....I’ll wait.
It really resonates with me.
Just let go of all the negativity, all the stress, the burden of anxiety. Let it all that s**t go.
When I try really hard & make the time to meditate I feel so much better! I focus on my breathing and it helps calm me down. It helps me get into a positive head space and try to rid of any negative thoughts I might be harboring that day. I have A LOT of work to do on myself & a lot of room for growth & learning. Being a mom and working full time is really hard! But I need to remember that in order to be the best for my kids and my spouse, I MUST work on ME first and foremost. I WILL find my joy - each & every day because that’s how I’m going to survive.
WE DESERVE IT.
