Some still pictures of one of the cakes from my reel yesterday ☺️
This cake was to celebrate a recent engagement, and there is a little bit of symbolism behind the design. With the bride to be being Canadian and her future husband being an Australian, I wanted to somehow incorporate both countries into the cake.
She loved the idea of a nature cake, so I used Canada’s national flower being Bunchberry (the white ones) and Australia’s being the golden wattle (yellow). Loved how the design turned out, and I was told the flavours were on point 😉
This was a mocha cake, with chocolate ganache filling and a hazelnut praline crumble in each layer ❤️
