TOAST Summit 2026 may be over, but the excitement is still very much alive here at Blastily! 🎉💜

We are still reliving all the incredible moments, inspiring conversations, meaningful connections, and amazing people who made the room so special. From the ideas shared to the relationships built, TOAST reminded us of the power of bringing people together, creating opportunities, and turning conversations into possibilities.

For us at Blastily, it was more than just an event. It was a room full of inspiration, innovation, and opportunities waiting to happen. And honestly, we are still buzzing! ✨

To everyone we met, connected with, laughed with, and exchanged ideas with, thank you for being part of the experience. We are excited about the conversations that will continue, the partnerships that will grow, and the amazing things we will create together.

Because at Blastily, we believe the best things happen when the right people connect.

And if TOAST Summit 2026 taught us anything, it is that the event may be over, but the opportunities are only just beginning! 🚀

Here is a little look back at the magic. Who else is still reliving TOAST 2026?

Business date night! 🤍🥂

Kaitlyn and I spent the evening at the Calgary Petroleum Club for What Kills Value: How to Get Your Business Exit-Ready, hosted by Katherine Martens, our incredible advisory board CFO.

We’re building OnLocation with big goals, including a potential exit in the next 5–10 years, so learning how to prepare for that NOW is incredibly valuable.

Some of our biggest takeaways? Knowing when to delegate, surrounding yourself with the right advisors, understanding tax structuring and building a business that can eventually run without you.

All things that are easy to overlook when you’re busy running the day-to-day!

And a personal full-circle moment… 🥹

I remember working downtown Calgary years ago and being in awe of places like the Petroleum Club. The fact that a business we built has brought us into these rooms is still pretty surreal.

We also got to reconnect with Kristen McGill from our Movement51 days and meet the inspiring Alison Pidskalny, founding owner of Calgary Wild FC!

Feeling grateful for the connections, conversations and reminders that we’re not just building a business, we’re building something that lasts.🤍

There are some events we look forward to every single year and the CIBC Run for the Cure is absolutely one of them. 🎀

Being invited back into the Hope Tent is incredibly special to our OnLocation team.

Yes, we’re there to pamper but it becomes so much more than that.

We get to sit with incredible women, hear their stories, celebrate milestones, hold space for hard moments and offer a little care and comfort to people who deserve it so much. 🤍

And this year felt even more special because OnLocation had our own Run for the Cure team!

Together, we raised almost $2,000 in support of breast cancer research and support programs.

And Calgary showed up in a BIG way together, our community raised an incredible $1,108,439 for breast cancer research and support. 🎀

We’re so proud to have played a small part in such an incredible day and already can’t wait to be back in the Hope Tent next year. 🤍

Last year, I remember looking at the Toast Summit and thinking, “I want OnLocation to be part of that.”

Fast forward one year… and we weren’t just attending — OnLocation was a sponsor 🥹

Alongside brands like lululemon, Garmin, ATB, Blume and so many others.

It was one of those moments where you realize how much can change in a year when you keep showing up, putting yourself in the right rooms and saying yes to opportunities.

And our Wellness Lounge was a HIT 🙌

Watching women step out of a busy conference, sit down for a 10-minute massage, reset, and then head back into their day reminded me exactly why we created this side of OnLocation.

Our team absolutely crushed it. They represented OnLocation so beautifully, connected with so many incredible women and made the entire experience feel like us.

And beyond our activation, I walked away with SO many takeaways from the Summit. Ideas for our business, reminders about leadership and growth, and some incredible new connections.

April Hicke + the entire Toast team created something really special. The speakers, conversations, brands and energy in that room were incredible.

There’s also something pretty cool about realizing that something you had on your “one day” list last year… is something you’re standing in the middle of this year.

Next year, we’re dreaming even bigger. 🤍

Thank you Toast for having OnLocation and thank you to our incredible team for bringing the Wellness Lounge to life.

A little appreciation post for my girl Kaitlyn Rempel 💖 the ying to my yang, my business partner soulmate and one of my favourite people.

For anyone one who knows her knows she’s magnetic, charismatic, insanely talented, smart, creative and SO good at what she does.

She started this beautiful business Mobile Beauty & Wellness Services 10 years ago, and is truly such an inspiration.

What an incredible night with AWE ✨

Last night’s Alberta Women Entrepreneurs event at The Brownstone was such a great reminder of what happens when you bring an incredible group of people into one room.

The energy, conversations, connections and community were amazing — you could feel it throughout the entire evening.

A huge congratulations to the AWE team for creating an event that felt thoughtful, elevated and genuinely fun to be part of.

Mobile Beauty & Wellness Services had the opportunity to bring our Wellness Lounge into the experience, and the response was incredible.

The chair massages were a HIT 🙌

Guests were stopping in throughout the evening to take a few minutes for themselves, reset and then head right back into the event.

And THAT is exactly why we created the Wellness Lounge.
Events don’t have to be just about what guests see — they can be about how guests feel.

We’re incredibly grateful to AWE for inviting OnLocation to be part of such a fantastic evening and to everyone who stopped by, chatted with our team and experienced the lounge. 🤍

Are you interested in bringing the OnLocation Wellness Lounge to your next event?

From chair massage and IV therapy to mini wellness treatments and customized activations, we create wellness experiences for corporate events, conferences, galas, retreats and brand activations.

Send me a message, we’d love to hear what you’re planning. ✨

Growth usually starts with the thing that makes you a little nervous.

Launching the business.
Raising your prices.
Putting yourself online.
Saying no.
Trying something new.
Investing in yourself.

Admitting something isn’t working and changing it.
Comfort feels safe but staying there too long can keep you exactly where you are.

You don’t need to make a massive leap overnight.

Sometimes growth is simply asking yourself:
What would I do next if I wasn’t afraid of being uncomfortable?
Then taking one small step toward it. 🤍

Save this one for the next time you’re talking yourself out of something you know you need to do.

SEO doesn’t have to be complicated 🔎

Here are 3 quick things you can do today to give your website a better chance of being found on Google:

1️⃣ Use the words your customers are actually searching for.
Don’t just say “beautiful, high-quality services.” Be specific about what you do and where you do it.
2️⃣ Give every page a purpose.
Your page title, headings and meta description should clearly tell Google (and your customers) what that page is about.
3️⃣ Don’t forget local SEO.
If you serve a specific area, actually tell Google! Include your city/service area naturally throughout your website and make sure your Google Business Profile is complete and up to date.

And here’s the thing:

SEO isn’t about stuffing your website with keywords. It’s about helping Google understand your business so it can connect you with the right people.

It’s hard to put into words what the gathering gave me for those 3 wonderful days. and I got to volunteer for a marketing festival that was pure joy.

It is a core memory I will never forget. The people, connections, collaborations and relationships made is nothing short of magic.

The time spent away with my business partner after 3 weeks of the teachers strike where we got to sit in a hotel room and work with no interruptions was in itself incredible. Then laughing all night coming down from the high of what each day held.

I truly cannot wait to go back 💖

Embracing Imperfection 💖

In both business and life, we’re reminded that beautiful things are never perfect.

This journey is filled with ups and downs, but it’s those very imperfections that shape our stories and build the strongest relationships.

It’s the unique challenges and triumphs that make the journey rewarding.

Let’s celebrate the beauty in our progress and the connections we make along the way. 🌟
