When Holly McGregor discovered what NanoSALV Catalytic could do for her partner Steve, she decided to advocate to have it stocked in her local pharmacy on PEI.

Advocates like Holly play an incredible role in driving innovation adoption and shaping healthcare - and we’re grateful to have advocates like Holly across the country and beyond.

As an advanced catalytic wound care treatment, NanoSALV Catalytic is kept behind the pharmacy counter.

If your pharmacist doesn’t carry NanoSALV Catalytic in store, they can order it for you.

Or, you can ask them to consider supporting Canadian innovation and reach out to our team for information on becoming one of our community champions.

Christian Bagg, founder of adaptive mobility company Bowhead Corp shares his take on why adaptive athletes need wound care that’s agile, effective, and on the road (or trail) with them when they need it 🩹

🎥 “I literally won’t travel without my little tube of it.”

Grateful to be a part of this incredible community of innovators and advocates, giving people with reduced mobility the freedom to do the sports that bring them freedom and joy 💪🏼

If you’re not familiar with Bowhead Corp, check them out. They’re changing the game with their incredible adaptive mountain bikes and manual wheelchairs that re-write the accessibility rule book 🛣️

Amazed. Blown Away.” - Dylan Willick, Adaptive Athlete 🎥

Earlier this month, we sponsored three adaptive athletes to take part in the Fernie Gravel Grind - an epic race where adaptive and non-adaptive riders tackle up to 86km of Fernie’s finest gravel roads 🛣️

Athletes with spinal cord injuries deal with wounds on a regular basis - from pressure injuries to cuts and abrasions sustained through sport - and they can escalate quickly or stall and become chronic 🏥

As adaptive mountain biker Dylan Willick discovered, NanoSALV Catalytic works to get healing on track from the beginning - or to get the process moving again🚦

Adaptive athletes use NanoSALV Catalytic for:

🩵 Pressure injuries
🩵 Road rash
🩵 Cuts and abrasions
🩵 Friction burns
🩵 Skin infections
🩵 Moisture Associated Skin Damage

Train Hard. Heal Fast. Be Unstoppable. 💪🏽

With thanks to our friends at Bowhead Corp who design THE BEST adaptive mountain bikes IN THE WORLD - right here in Calgary 🌍

According to the Government of Canada, the total population experiencing homelessness has nearly doubled since 2020 - with 27% of our unhoused population currently living in outdoor encampments ⛺

Which is one of the reasons why innovation in community-based wound care is more critical now than ever 🔬

Community Paramedics, like Ken Boniface, have been using NanoSALV Catalytic since 2024 - supporting thousands of individuals in austere environments with wound care that is practical, dignified, compassionate and, most importantly, effective 🚑

We are proud to be part of their wound care kits 🩹

Every day, resourceful clinicians, like Maria, are bringing wound care directly to our most vulnerable communities, meeting people in need with healthcare that works for where they are, not where society expects them to be 🤝

From shelters and outreach programs to community clinics and street medicine teams, these incredible individuals are proving that innovation in healthcare isn’t just about technology; it’s about tackling our biggest challenges with novel approaches💙

At the Calgary Drop-In Centre , that means an on-site clinic with a team of 40+ clinicians providing 30,000 health touchpoints with vulnerable people, each year 🩺

We are proud to play a role alongside your team. Thank you for trusting us to support your clients’ healing 💙

According to Diabetes Canada , Indigenous people in Canada are diagnosed with diabetes at a younger age, have more severe symptoms when diagnosed, face higher rates of complications, and experience poorer treatment outcomes 💙

Open sores, blisters, ulcers, and slow-healing wounds are some of the life-limiting symptoms people like Michael Jameson manage, every day.🦶

Accessible care has always been our highest priority and we continue to advocate for more widespread and consistent coverage through NIHB and health equity for our First Nations, Metis, and Inuit communities. 🧡

With our Impact Partner embecta we support ALL Canadians to live a life unlimited by diabetes.

If this is you, or if you have a loved one with diabetes, it’s important to know how to avoid injuries, how to treat wounds early, and when to seek medical attention 🦶

For people living with diabetes, NanoSALV Catalytic is indicated for use on diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers AND it’s an effective early intervention for minor injuries, to reduce the risk of escalation 💙

With thanks to Lucille Hughes Lucille Hughes, an incredible diabetic educator and RN, and our Impact Partner embecta , a global leader in diabetes care 🌎
