Thank you for following our LinkedIn posts on Truth and Reconciliation over the past two weeks as we've led up to today's observation.

It's been our sincerest pleasure in listening, learning and opening our hearts and minds to understand the truth and generational impacts that the First People of Canada faced at the hands of Residential Schools and Day Schools. We acknowledge the strength it took each of our guests to share their story and recognize the work that's yet to be done in the process around truth and reconciliation.

We take our role as allies and co-resistors seriously, and will continue to amplify the voices and share the stories of strength, resilience and successes of the Indigenous, Metis and Inuit people as we do business here on Treaty 7 Land.

We have so much love and gratitude for our guests and look forward to continuing our journey of learning and doing our part toward reconciliation.

Helios Consulting will be closed on Friday, September 30th as our team and their families participate in the community, in ceremony or in reflection today.

Today, we had the privilege of recording Pocket Change with Councillor Buck Breaker of Siksika Nation.

This recording is one that carries many lessons and stories, including the history of Siksika and some of their monumental things that the Nation has gone through.

This is a moving and thought provoking episode that will facilitate further understanding of the Truth in helping individuals find their path to Reconciliation. Watch for this episode to publish on November 18th.
