Hooks, Posts, Clips, are all used to attach beautiful earrings to our earlobes. Which one is best? May be a personal preference. And, it only depends on having the earlobe pierced or not.
The most common earrings are designed for pierced earlobes using hooks and posts as support to the lobe. These findings are usually fabricated from different metals such as brass, stainless steel, silver, gold, platinum, etc. To make inexpensive materials more durable, appealing, and hypoallergenic, metal alloys may be gold plated or gold filled.
On the other hand, clip-on earrings are designed to be attached to the earlobe without the need for piercings. They typically are manufactured with a hinged clip or screw-back mechanism that holds the earring in place on the earlobe. So, they are a good option for those who do not have pierced ears. Modern clips are silicone-based which is a great alternative when metals and alloys produce allergies.

I have been missing but I have some news. I have been working on my new online store, new products, as well as trying to decide the best course of action. Not everything is complete yet, but I am almost there. To be honest it is entirely overwhelming and that is why I am taking it easy.

I am very grateful to all my friends and family who supported my participation in the RAW Artists PROTOTYPE at the Contemporary Calgary last Sat Jan 14th. Your presence and support meant so much to me.

This was a great event with the participation of more than 120 Calgary's artists for visual arts, photography, music, fashion, etc. Check for a sample of the event.
