“Risk Control Canada is excited to announce that we will be presenting a case study at the ASIS Fortify Conference in Edmonton, Alberta on April 18-20, hosted by ASIS Chapter 156. The presentation by our CEO, Aziz Khadem; President, Anthony Kimakowich; and Technical Assessor, Brent Bauman will focus on the challenges facing social housing in northern Canada and how we successfully raised the bar for professional security providers.
Our case study will highlight the struggles of a client with unique security requirements, who ultimately identified Risk Control as the qualified service provider to meet their specialized high-level security needs. We will detail the challenges faced by security providers with regards to hiring, training, and regulatory oversight, and the complex working relationships encountered by local providers as they deal with mental health, addictions, and homelessness issues, as well as the controls implemented to address these.
We will share our long-term security solution that not only met but exceeded the client's expectations and improved the overall security of their properties. The implementation of our solution resulted in the significant reduction of incidents; improved the safety and well-being of the tenants; and allowed for local police resources to be diverted to address more emergent priorities.
Our presentation will be a valuable learning opportunity for attendees, providing them with a clear understanding of the challenges facing social housing in northern Canada and the innovative solutions that can be implemented to address them. This case study is a prime example of how Risk Control is committed to raising the bar of professional services and security providers while making a positive impact on our communities. .”
