Most life-changing decisions don’t feel life-changing in the moment. They usually start with a little curiosity and a willingness to take one small step.

When I took my first step it was because I just wanted to explore something new. Something that would help us through a difficult period.

Little did I know what that small step would open up for me. I couldn’t see the friendships, the skills I would learn, the personal growth, the places I would travel, or the people I would meet along the way.

Most life-changing decisions don’t feel life-changing at the time. They often actually feel small or like nothing at all. Just ordinary life happening.

But sometimes one decision becomes the doorway to an entirely different chapter.

So rhe question isn’t whether a single decision can change everything.

The question is: What opportunity might be waiting on the other side of the next decision?

Funny thing is… the reality turned out better than what I imagined. ❤️

I’d tried online things before and honestly? Some didn’t work out. Sometimes the training ended and so did the support. Sometimes I just felt completely on my own.

So yes… I definitely wondered if this would be another one of those “sounds amazing online” situations or maybe something worse. 😅

But the reality has been building real skills, growing confidence, helping people, and creating something meaningful one step at a time.

Not magic and not overnight. But I’ve had steady growth, met great people, and a whole lot more possibility than I expected. ✨

A beautiful quote from Rumi this morning because I listened to a talk about it last evening and it stuck with me throughout the night.

I think there’s something so powerful about moving through life with this kind of faith. You begin to notice beauty more often, take chances you maybe once avoided, believe in your abilities to overcome obstacles and maybe even recover more quickly from disappointment.

Perhaps living “as if” life is rigged in our favor is really an invitation to meet life with trust and positivity — and to believe that maybe, just maybe, the universe has been quietly cheering us on all along.

Most people wait their whole lives for someday…

I was given this prompt today by a business partner. My thoughts…

Someday when life calms down.
Someday when there’s more money.
Someday when confidence feels stronger.
Someday when the timing is perfect.

But the truth is there usually isn’t ever a perfect moment.

Most meaningful things begin in the middle of uncertainty, busy schedules, learning curves, and a whole lot of figuring it out along the way. I call this the messy middle and I’ve done SO MANY things from there 😝

A quote came to mind when I was thinking about this — it’s actually one of my friend Brenda’s favourites:

“What if I fall?”
“Oh, but my darling… what if you fly?”

I think so many dreams stay parked on the sidelines because fear asks, “What if it doesn’t work?”

But maybe a better question is…
“What if it does?”

Starting small still counts.
Trying again still counts.
Learning still counts.

Sometimes the biggest shift in life happens the moment a person stops waiting for “someday” and decides to begin anyway. ✨

Cheers, my friends!

If there’s been a little voice wondering whether something different is possible… maybe it’s worth listening to it.

Because sometimes the little voice is leading you to something big.

Happy to share what’s worked for me and what this journey has actually looked like behind the scenes.

And the team goes wild! 🎊😊🎉🎉🍾

One of the reasons I love this business is that it works for both complete beginners and people who’ve been trying to figure out the online space on their own. The one constant is that there’s always someone there to cheer you on.

There’s training, systems, mentorship, and a supportive community, so nobody has to start from scratch alone or feel like they need to know everything before beginning.

And for people who’ve tried other things before without success, sometimes the difference isn’t effort — it’s finally having the right structure and support in place.

This business isn’t about being perfect or “techy.”
It’s about being willing to learn, grow, and stay open to new possibilities. ✨

Why Social Media Is the Biggest Opportunity Right Now

A few years ago, starting a business usually meant:

* renting a space
* hiring staff
* spending thousands upfront
* hoping people would somehow find it

Now?
A phone and an internet connection can open doors that once only big companies could walk through.

Social media has changed everything.

It allows everyday people to:
✨ learn new skills
✨ build communities
✨ share passions
✨ create income streams
✨ work from almost anywhere

And perhaps the biggest shift of all…

People no longer need permission to start.

A teacher can become a creator.
A retiree can learn digital skills.
A photographer can build an audience.
A grandmother can inspire thousands.

The world is changing fast — and social media is one of the few places where someone can still start small and grow something meaningful over time.

Post the most recent pic in your gallery of an animal.

For those who have not met Blue, my grand fur-baby, he’s the best pup ever! He loves to visit his Nana and never wants to leave. And no, he never gets ‘treats’ other than cucumber, he’s just a love bug!

It’s a long weekend here in Canada. A celebration of Queen Victoria.

I’m a royalist (not obsessive, just interested) and I would say that she is my favorite. So I thought I would dig up a few of the quirky and ‘factual’ facts for you today. 👸

* She was only 18 years old when she became queen. One morning she woke up a teenager… and by breakfast she was monarch.
* Victoria was just 4 feet 11 inches tall — tiny in stature, enormous in historical impact.
* She proposed to Prince Albert herself. Royal protocol meant he technically couldn’t propose to the reigning monarch.
* She absolutely hated being pregnant. She called babies “ugly” and compared infancy to “a frog-like existence.” Not exactly the Victorian greeting card version of motherhood.
* She survived at least 7 assassination attempts during her reign. Amazingly, some public appearances afterward actually increased her popularity because people admired her calmness.
* White wedding dresses became globally fashionable because of her. Before Victoria, brides often just wore their best dress — any color. Her white lace gown changed wedding culture forever.
* She spoke several languages, including German and some Italian and French.
* Victoria kept meticulous journals throughout her life — over 60 million words are estimated to have been written in her diaries.
* She had a pet donkey named Flora who reportedly comforted her late in life. And was an avid dog lover, her favorites included her childhood Cavalier King Charles Spaniel "Dash" and a Pomeranian "Turi," who stayed by her deathbed
* After Albert died, she wore black for the remaining 40 years of her life. That deep mourning shaped the entire “Victorian mourning culture” people still associate with the era.
* She was known to enjoy a glass of whisky and wine, despite the era’s reputation for stiff formality.
* The term “Victorian” became synonymous with an entire age while she was still alive — architecture, morality, fashion, etiquette, industry, literature… she became the living symbol of an era.
* She was the grandmother of Europe. Her children married into royal families across the continent, linking many European monarchies together.
* Her first name wasn’t actually Victoria. She was born Alexandrina Victoria, and family called her “Drina.”
* She disliked being called old. Same, honestly.

And one especially poetic little detail for a Victoria Day weekend:
She loved the Highlands of Scotland so much that Balmoral Castle became her emotional refuge — wild air, misty hills, quiet walks. Very fitting for someone who carried an empire on her shoulders and still sought peace in nature.

And the “Just the facts, ma’am”

* Reign: June 20, 1837 – January 22, 1901
* Length of reign: 63 years, 7 months, and 2 days
(At the time, she was the longest-reigning British monarch in history until Queen Elizabeth II surpassed her.)
* Born: May 24, 1819
* Died: January 22, 1901
* Age when she died: 81 years old
* Husband: Prince Albert
* Married: February 10, 1840
* Children: 9
* Grandchildren: 42

Her children married into royal families across Europe, which is why she became known as “The Grandmother of Europe.” By the early 1900s, you could barely toss a royal tiara across the continent without hitting one of Victoria’s descendants. 👑
