Attached are pictures of Bare Bright Copper & Copper No2.
Bare Bright copper is the highest-grade scrap copper because it is clean, uncoated, unalloyed, and free from insulation, solder, paint, or significant oxidation. It is typically clean, stripped copper wire and commands the highest price at the scrap yard. Copper #2 is a lower grade because it contains some contamination, coating, solder, oxidation, or other attachments, such as copper pipe with soldered joints. As a result, Bare Bright copper generally sells for more per pound than Copper #2.
