Today, we honour Red Dress Day.

As an Indigenous women-owned business, this day holds deep meaning for us. We remember and stand for the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people. Each red dress symbolizes loss, resilience, and voices that must never be forgotten.

We carry our ancestors with us, we uplift our communities, and we continue to call for justice, safety, and respect for Indigenous women and girls.

Take a moment today to listen, learn, and reflect. Our stories matter. Our lives matter.

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the release of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission 94 Calls to Action.
This anniversary is a moment to reflect, to listen, and—most importantly—to act.
Reconciliation is not symbolic. It requires accountability, sustained effort, and meaningful change.

Yesterday, we facilitated an Indigenous Awareness and Cultural Competency session with one of our clients. It’s inspiring to see organizations taking the time to learn before they act. This is how reconciliation begins — with understanding.

Today, we observed the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at E3 Lithium's Calgary office, an event underscoring our commitment to acknowledging and learning from the past. We were privileged to have Elders Pam and Martin Heavyhead share their profound teachings and wisdom, enriching our understanding of Indigenous perspectives. Additionally, Artist Lana Manyfingers guided us through an Indigenous craft session, fostering a deeper appreciation for Indigenous artistry and culture.
This gathering emphasized the importance of reconciliation and cultural education in building a more inclusive future.

Today, we acknowledge Treaty 7 Day.
On this day in 1877, Treaty 7 was signed between the Crown and First Nations in what is now Southern Alberta. This anniversary stands as a time to recognize and reflect on the histories, cultures, and heritages of the nations within the Treaty 7 region.
Treaty 7 Day promotes awareness of the ongoing importance of treaty rights and relationships — and calls on all of us to honour the spirit and intent of the treaty.
