Marquee on 16th was a project we worked on back in 2016. Immediately next door to Peter's Drive-In.

Yes, lots of burgers and milk shakes were consumed by our crews!

Heat Gain Windows were used on the North and East elevations and Heat Shield Windows were used on the South and West elevations. This configuration allowed a balance of passive heating without making the South and West units uncomfortable.

There were also several logistical challenges with having to shut down a lane on the busy Trans Canada Highway (16th Avenue) to crane the windows up to each floor.

Then we had the challenge of the strong winds blowing through each floor and had to secure the windows and doors to prevent them from blowing over on the floors.

We worked closely with the Building Envelope Engineers to ensure a LEAK-PROOF Installation that will stand the test of time.
