Sometimes the simplest things are the best. This is a little financier cake, but in the shape of a thumbprint cookie! Traditional financiers are made with nut flours like almond or pistachio. This one is made with a almond flour and a little@hint of almond extract to give it that little@but of extra depth. The ganache in the middle has taken me a while to nail but it whipped up nicely and have a nice balance to this little treat. They’ll be available for purchase on my website over at sweetts.ca soon!

This wonderful piece was created by . It’s called “Street Sense”, the name was inspired by the wooden canvas the paint is poured on, and because it’s porous it didn’t flow easily. “The streets can be rough like the canvas, but with “street sense” you can get your flow on”. - Jason
