So… we’ve definitely been quiet for the past few years as we mull things over and focus on other life priorities.

Why? Because we’ve noticed the Avenear name is now being used by others around the role to brand their own businesses. Talk about lighting a fire under our ass!

After a long hiatus, we’re back! And this time it’s to announce we have a limited inventory of our measuring sets available for purchase.

These sets contain both cups and spoons designed to be housed together as an integrated unit on your countertop. This first batch is made by hand in small quantities of laser etched stainless steel and maple.

Avenear's new identity offers a revamp to our brand. This time, Avenear's original "A" logo served as the inspiration for the redesign. The original A was recreated with a single shape repeated three times. ⁠

This then led us to try writing the rest of the name using this shape. In total we only needed four different components to spell out Avenear. Wonderful, no?⁠

For something a little wackier, let’s just imagine that more people kept seed and plant databases. The biggest affect it would carry would be on the environment. There might be some further repercussions on regulation (what you’re allowed to collect) and rituals (ex: seed gathering weekends).
