Little Rock Printing

Little Rock Printing Printing and Signage in Calgary. Little Rock: The All-In Printer

Rick Kroeker opened Little Rock Printing in 1994, when his son Brian was just 10 years old.

Today, the two work side-by-side as COO and President, respectively. Together, they've grown their family-owned, grassroots business into one of the city's most reliable commercial printing companies, churning out everything from brochures to signage. The secret to our success? We treat each job with the same meticulous attention to detail, no matter the size or scope of the project. That means an

order for 50 Business Cards receives the same amount of diligence as an ongoing print contract for a major corporation. We offer the access of a Staples with a convenient location and free parking combined with the print equipment of a major commercial print facility resulting in a unique service offering for all size orders and customers. Our Inglewood print facility has no boardrooms, no office doors and is full of the highest end state of the art print and finishing equipment. If you walk in to our shop you have full view of all of our equipment and all of our staff and if you call in we actually answer the phones. We have no outside sales people and our owners work in customer service on the front lines with you, our customers. We feel that the interaction with our customers is important and therefore we have our owners answer the phones, respond to emails and take your orders. Its backwards, its different and it works creating a unique experience.

Learn how to make print products for a whole trade show booth — with just one easy design.
Here's the process:

1. Start in Canva and build your core artwork once, so your logo, colours, and art are all in one file
2. Click Magic Switch, and type in the size for your new product — use pixels, not inches, for a clean, accurate fit
3. Always pick "Copy and Resize," so your original design stays untouched
4. Do a quick pass on each new size and nudge anything that shifted, and you're done

Self-published author Yvonne Kjorlien used this approach to go from selling at community markets to running a full Calgary Expo artist booth. She sent her designs to Little Rock, and we printed everything she needed, from banner stands to bookmarks, postcards, and posters.

Planning a booth? Design it once, and print the whole set with us — no minimums, and we ship Canada-wide.

It started with $100, a candle-making course, and a little experimenting in the kitchen. 🕯️

Two and a half years later, Viktoriia has grown VI•RO Products into a small-batch home fragrance brand with candles, diffusers, retail partners, and more than 50 sold-out workshops.

Every product is meant to feel like a gift, right down to the details. Little Rock prints the labels, hang tags, and thank-you cards that help Viktoriia give each order that finished touch.

From one kitchen experiment to a growing Canadian brand, it’s been quite a journey. Thanks for letting us be part of it, Viktoriia. ❤️

Little Rock has printed just about everything for Yvonne Kjorlien’s books except the books themselves. 📚

The Calgary author started with community markets, using printed pieces to make her table feel polished without stretching a small-business budget. This year, she levelled up to Calgary Expo with a banner, bookmarks, postcards, posters, and booklets for her ebooks and audiobooks.

She’s even created printed extras inspired by her stories, giving readers something special to take home beyond the book.

We loved helping Yvonne get Expo-ready and watching her author business grow. Thanks for bringing us along. ❤️

For Blox Communications, print was an important part of their strategy from the start. 🖨️

The Langford, BC marketing consultancy builds high-touch campaigns for organizations in manufacturing, finance, professional services, and so much more. That means the physical details matter just as much as the big idea.

Over the past several months, we’ve printed everything from business cards and stickers to service booklets, postcards, one-pagers, and accordion flyers for the Blox team.

We love working with people who care about the paper, texture, and finished piece as much as the strategy behind it. Thanks for keeping us busy, Blox. ❤️

There’s a lot of trust involved in turning original artwork into your very first prints. 🎨

Dana runs KazooCat, a Greater Vancouver fashion and accessories brand inspired by anime, tattoo art, and the joy of standing out. A recommendation from another artist brought Dana to Little Rock for their first 5x7 art prints.

What kept them coming back was flexibility. Different sizes, papers, quantities, and designs can all fit into an order without asking a small business to commit to more stock than it needs.

We’re glad that first order turned into an ongoing relationship. Thanks for trusting us with your art, Dana. ❤️

Did you know the same print can have a completely different feel depending on the stock you choose? Here's how to match paper and finish to the job 👇

✨ Gloss gives you punchier colour and higher contrast — great for photos, art prints, and packaging

🖊️ Matte feels softer and doesn't shine — easier to read and write on, great for cards and text-heavy pieces

📦 Durability matters? Go heavier — a thicker stock gives your print a more substantial, quality feel

🐾 KazooCat's 5×7 art prints are a great example — Dana, who runs this handmade alternative-fashion brand, chose Little Rock for her first-ever art print run

🔁 Her colour and stock stayed consistent across reprints, so every repeat order matches the last

Not sure which stock suits your work? Ask us or order a free sample before you commit — no minimum order sizes, guaranteed timelines, and free shipping across Canada.

Your design looks great on screen — but will it print that way? Don't guess — proof it. Here's how to get colour right before you print 👇

🖥️ Design in CMYK from the start, so you're using colours that actually work for print
⚡ Super-bright, electric colours can look amazing on screen but print completely differently
📄 Order a free proof — see your actual design, at scale, on the real stock, before committing to the full batch
✏️ Need an adjustment? Make it before printing the whole run
✅ Check your proof, tweak it, approve it, then order with confidence

Colour is vital to Ming Chi's work, so free proofs are essential. Checking colour accuracy at scale — and combining multiple designs in one order — helped her launch a stationery line now selling in boutiques and at art markets.

Printing something colourful? Order a free proof from Little Rock first, then let us print your project — guaranteed timelines, no minimum order sizes, and free shipping across Canada.

Did you know you don't need to choose fonts and colours from scratch every time you design something? Here's how to build a brand kit in Canva in under two minutes 👇

🎨 Open the Brand tab and start a new brand kit
🖼️ Load in your logo, your colours, and your fonts
✨ Hit 'Styles' on any new design to give it the same look in a couple of clicks
📦 That consistency matters most when you're ordering multiple pieces at once — everything looks like it's from the same brand
🖨️ One kit, reused for everything you design from here on out

Blox treats print as a key part of their marketing strategy, so every piece has to look and feel like them — bold and specific, not generic. A consistent brand system is what makes that repeatable, across business cards, service booklets, one-pagers, their Brand Compass booklet, and their OKR posters.

Got your brand set? Print every product you need with Little Rock, and we'll make sure it all stays on-brand — guaranteed timelines, no minimum order sizes, and free shipping across Canada.

If you're bringing a product to shelf, your label needs to do two things: look good, and meet the mandatory labelling requirements.

Here's the process we walk customers through, in under a minute:
1. Plan your label zones — one for branding, one for required product details
2. Set up your template at the correct size, with bleed and a safe margin
3. Choose clean, natural typography that complements your brand
4. Keep all mandatory information clear, readable, and easy to find
5. Proof your label before printing, so the colours match exactly

Forêt Naturals, a family-run BC company making natural health products in-house, used this process for their line. Seeing the finished labels on the bottles is what made the business feel real to them.

Ready to print your labels? We offer no minimum or maximum order sizes, guaranteed timelines, and free shipping across Canada.

One core Canva design can become an entire booth print set. Little Rock® helped Calgary author Yvonne Kjorlien turn one design into a banner, booklets, bookmarks, postcards, and posters for her Calgary Expo table.

Here's how quick and easy the resize process is:
➡️ Build your core design first, using whichever piece has the most reusable elements (a banner usually works well).
➡️ Use Magic Switch to map that layout onto new print sizes instead of starting from a blank canvas.
➡️ Type each product's dimensions in inches, not pixels, before resizing.
➡️ Use Copy & Resize to keep your original file safe while creating each new version.
➡️ Review every resized piece for shifted text, cropped images, or logos sitting too close to the edge.

Did you see Yvonne’s booth at the Calgary Expo? We’d love to hear about it in the comments!
