So here’s a little bit about me…

I’m an Alberta mom of one, I work my 9–5, and I’m also building an online business on the side. 💻

Life is busy, and I definitely don’t have endless hours in the day. I simply make time for something that’s important to me and work on it when I can.

I started because I wanted to create something of my own while still being there for my daughter and enjoying our everyday life. 🫶

Now I get to connect with other women who are curious about the online business space and want to see what it’s all about.

No pressure. No big promises. Just sharing my experience and connecting with women who are curious too. ✨

Why do kids have the hearing AND the smell of a bloodhound when it comes to Mom?! 😂

I can be vacuuming, doing laundry, opening cupboards… NOTHING.

But let me quietly take one sip of my iced tea…

👧 “Mom?”
👧 “What are you drinking?”
👧 “What are you eating?”
👧 “What are you making?”

HOW?! 😭😂

And apparently, I can’t even eat ONE cookie without getting caught.

I ate ONE.

And this girl could literally smell the cookie on me. 😂

Like excuse me?! Are you my child or a snack-detecting K9?! 🐕🤣

Meanwhile, I’m just trying to enjoy my iced tea and little snack without having to file a full report with the household.

Motherhood is basically having tiny investigators following you around 24/7.

No snack is private. No drink is secret. No cookie goes undetected. 😂

✨One question completely shifted my perspective...

If you kept doing exactly what you’re doing today for the next year...

That question made me realize I didn’t need to change everything overnight—I just needed to start learning something new.

That’s why I began exploring digital skills and building something alongside my full-time job. No big leap. Just consistent, small steps that fit into my schedule.

A year can pass whether you make a change or not. The real question is: where do you want to be when it does?

✨This changed everything for me…

There wasn’t a moment where I suddenly had it all figured out.

I just knew I wanted more time with my daughter and more control over what our future could look like.

So instead of waiting for the “perfect time,” I started learning new skills after work. Some nights it was an hour. Some nights it was less. But I kept showing up.

Those small, consistent steps slowly turned into confidence, growth, and opportunities I never expected.

If you’re waiting until you feel ready, this is your reminder that progress doesn’t come from having all the answers—it comes from taking the first step.

Your future isn’t built overnight. It’s built one decision at a time.
