As we start packing up to escape another cold Canadian winter, we're reminded of one of the reasons we started building an online business in the first place.
We wanted more flexibility. More choices. And the ability to spend our winters in Mexico without having to put our lives on hold.
But what exactly is an online business?
Simply put, it's a business you can build using the internet. You can connect with people, share information, market products and services, and create opportunities without being tied to a traditional storefront or one location.
For us, it means learning new skills, creating content, using social media, running ads, building relationships and having a community to learn alongside.
And here's something we want people to understandโฆ
You don't have to be a tech expert to get started!
Trust us, weโve had plenty to learn along the way. ๐ We didn't start out knowing how to do all of this. We learned step by step, and we're still learning.
It takes time, effort and consistency. It's not a get-rich-quick scheme, and income isn't guaranteed. But it gives us the opportunity to build something of our own alongside our existing responsibilities.
And the best part? Our business comes with us.
Whether we're in Canada for the summer or spending the winter in Mexico, we can continue building toward our bigger goals.
That's what got us interested in the first place. We didn't just want another way to make money, like another job. We wanted to create a future with more freedom and choices.
So while we're busy getting ready to trade snow-covered mountains for sunshine and beach walks, we're also pretty grateful that we're building something that supports the life we want to live. ๐ฉท
