Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
• Initiate in intake meetings to fully understand the role requirements and core competencies, how those fit with business objectives, and build interview kits to support the selection process.
• Full cycle recruitment, screening, assessment, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
• Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to attract and retain quality candidates
• Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
• Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations
• Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create and release job descriptions
• Participate in interviews as required, counsel and advise hiring managers
• Select the most qualified candidates and provide detailed feedback to hiring managers
• Work with third-party recruitment partner in the selection of top talent
• Administer pre-employment testing, prepare offer packages, and conduct new hire onboarding
• Maintain weekly recruitment reports
• Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Assist with preparing offer letters and employee onboarding
HR & Benefits Administration
• Participate in the administration of the group insurance and RRSP as required
• Manage monthly benefit report
• Establish effective relationships at all levels based on trust, experience and credibility by providing front-line HR consultation, advice and guidance
• Conduct compensation research and prepare ad hoc compensation reports as required
• Conduct exit interviews and facilitate the off-boarding process
• Assist with creating, updating job descriptions for all positions with the company
• As guided by the Manager, HR, supports annual performance management process (goal setting, coaching, etc.) and assists with tracking and reporting as required.
• Assisting the Manager, HR on special projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:

• Bachelors’ degree, diploma or certificate in human resources
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• CPHR designation is considered an asset
• Proven recruitment experience in-house recruiting experience with an extensive understanding of how to navigate within an organization to successfully make quality hires without negatively impacting other stakeholder groups.
• A Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in recruitment, and in other area of Human Resources

Responsibilities
• Manages our software products throughout the product lifecycle including planning, development, testing, implementation, customer support and continual improvement of the product.
• Ensures existing tools (mostly access front end / SQL backend, angular, python) are maintained and any changes or upgrades are implemented in a timely manner, where required, so that the operations team can continue functioning efficiently while new and improved tools are being designed and developed.
• Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to plan, design & develop new systems and tools to automate manual processes and ensure our operations team can run as effectively as possible.
• Thoroughly understands how all systems and data tie together including how changes in one system will impact other functions within that system as well as all of the other systems.
• Creates a detailed project plan for each project including technical specifications, milestones, timelines, resource plan and estimated number of hours required.
• Creates interactive mock-ups based on technical specifications.
• Aggressively manages project timelines to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Identifies and successfully resolves issues and conflicts that may develop on the project to keep the project on track.
• Coordinates and participates in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring senior and junior developers.
• Directs communication with development team to prioritize development tasks, using Azure DevOps.
• Conducts Sprint Planning Meetings, creates sprints, organizes the backlog, and sets priorities for tasks.
• Ensures the software created meets the requirements. This involves the analysis of software to prevent issues and fixing bugs before the product is dispatched to users.
• Develops software implementation documentation and processes.

Qualifications
• University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of project management experience with software development team.
• Managing a Software Development Team is a definite benefit.
• Basic understanding of Software Development Cycle using Agile methodology.
• Basic understanding on how software products are built.
• Good understanding of MS Access and SQL Databases.

Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Software and Data, the primary function of the position is to develop, sustain and nurture long-term relationships with our software customers. The Client Relations Manager - Software is the key contact and interacts with the client to ensure their customized Emergency Response Management Software Solutions meet their needs.

The Role:
H2Safety Services Inc. is looking for a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team. Reporting to the VP Operations (HSE), the role of the HSE Manager is to provide leadership and expertise in health, safety and environmental matters to internal and external clients and to continue to expand the HSE services we provide. The company’s HSE Department plays a dual role in that it provides a line of business that assists a portfolio of external customers in developing and maintaining their HSE programs while simultaneously managing H2Safety’s own HSE program. The position will oversee internal and external client relationships, further establish the company’s vision of the HSE Department and manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s HSE Department.

Responsibilities
• Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE MS programs for new and existing external clients as well as collaborating with internal clients, as required, to manage the company program.
• Provide expertise and support on new and existing HSE regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive investigations of any incident reports; develop Investigation Reports and HSE Alerts resulting from investigations.
• Plan and schedule project timelines, milestones and resources using the appropriate tools and methods; aggressively manage project timelines to ensure regulatory, company and external client deadlines are met.
• Liaise with other company, internal or external, departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of project tasks and timelines.
• Effectively and accurately communicate issues that may impact the company and external client relations and relevant project information.
• Ensure that all final products meet regulatory, company and external client requirements and H2Safety project ex*****on requirements.
• Work on the implementation and continual improvement of external client support mechanisms.
• Oversee the company’s HSE Department and manage direct reports; may manage a project team consisting of members from various internal departments (Engineering, GIS, IT, Public Involvement, Training, Printing, Admin, etc.).
• Maintain the company’s Certificate of Recognition (COR) Audit via internal/external audits, action plan development and program implementation.
• Identify business opportunities and create business cases for external client work, new product/service offerings, solutions, etc.
• Assist with preparation of any RFPs upon request by internal clients.
• Work towards improving the company’s culture on a day-to-day basis.
• Take advantage of self-development opportunities outside of work and brings learnings back to the office.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience as an HSE professional, with 3-5 years’ experience in a leadership role.
• Post-secondary education, or equivalent level of safety/operational experience.
• NCSO and / or CSRP designation preferred.
• Requirement to be an Energy Safety Canada (ESC) Auditor or willing to obtain this designation in a short timeframe.
• Up-to-date working knowledge of federal and provincial legislation and related governmental and industry health and safety requirements.
• Experience in security or emergency response planning, preparedness and response in industrial or oil and gas sector.
• Active listener and strong negotiating skills; adept at understanding competing agendas, influencing diverse audiences and rapidly moving issues forward in a constructive manner.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and team building skills, and able to function effectively in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
• Resilient, collaborative, and goal oriented.
