We are looking for a BI Consultant to help grow our quickly expanding team. If you love working with clients and using data to create custom solutions then we want you!

As our BI Consultant, you will:
-Work closely with client and consulting team to fully understand client challenges, develop innovative and catered solutions, and present and re-affirm value to clients.
-Perform data analysis and communicate findings using visualization tools. Convert and present complex data through visually appealing reports/dashboards to audiences at all levels.
-Propose and validate new methods of visualization and presentation to communicate discoveries.
-Identify and resolve programming or data quality issues.
-Develop and maintain T-SQL database objects including queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and indexes.
-Participate in problem-solving investigation and analyses to make recommendations to clients to effectively assist them with decision-making on operational or other business issues.
-Maintain a standard of excellence while managing projects from concept to release through all phases of development: functional and design specifications, implementation, unit, performance and scalability testing, go-live support, documentation and project delivery.
-Provide training to internal/external stakeholders on data interpretation, data evaluation, statistical and analytical techniques.
-Ensure that all data, files, material, and records are kept confidential and protected.

Job Duties/Requirements:

As our MS Azure, Security and Networking Specialist, you will:
-Finalize Olsen Consulting’s internal Azure network and security setup.
-Keep up to date with technology trends.
-Responsible for preparing technical design documentation and providing knowledge transfer to other team members.
-Responsible for networking, compute, storage, databases, security and automation.
-Implement best practices.
-Define cloud strategy.
-Define the technological and security parameters related to Microsoft Office 365 and Azure;

Responsible for supporting the technical architecture of the MS Azure Platform including services such as:
-Platform as a Service
-Database as a Service
-Application Service Management
-Azure Firewall
-Platform Performance and Security

-SQL Management Capabilities including Maintenance Plans, Database Migrations, Database Service Setup, Backup and Recovery.
-Monitor and review IT system logs, server security and special services on servers; identify errors and make modifications to monitoring performance metrics to enable proactive maintenance.
-Perform cost analysis and cost management.

With future opportunities to:

-Lead the deployment of Azure solutions for clients

Education:
-Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Related Discipline or equivalent work experience in a related field.

Required qualifications:
-5+ years of Information Technology field experience
-3+ hands-on experience in implementing and/or maintaining highly complex cloud environments
-Experience implementing Azure
-Strong experience in designing architectures integrating SaaS, IaaS, PaaS and DaaS concepts
-Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Technology stack, Microsoft cloud technologies and network topologies.
-General technical understanding of cloud platforms and supporting technologies.
-Knowledge of cloud foundational components such as identity and access management (IAM) software-defined networking, security, governance, and compliance.
-Understanding of cloud automation and orchestration tools and techniques including git, Azure DevOps, ARM or equivalent.
-A team player, with a desire to work in an innovative, fast-paced work environment.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Great problem-solving and decision-making skills.
-High level of integrity.

We are Looking for an Accountant & ERP Implementation Consultant to join our team. If you are good at assisting in maintaining financial records and analyzing data, with a solid accounting background then we want you on our team.



Note: This position will be divided between 50% internal and 50% external responsibilities.



Internal Accounting Responsibilities:
-Manage all internal financial policies and our full-cycle accounting system. Streamline processes where necessary, ensuring there are adequate checks and balances at every stage.
-Analyzing and interpreting statistical and accounting information to allow for reliable decision-making at the business level.
-Assist with the identification of process improvement areas across Accounting.
-Responsible for the maintenance of new and existing policies, procedures, and controls, to ultimately create time savings, efficiencies and synergies across all business units.
-Prepares accurate and timely monthly and year-end financial statements.
-Assist with audit file preparation, financial statements and work with auditors.

Special projects:
-Working with external consultants to implement an ESOP.
-Preparing and applying for SR&ED claims.
-Work collaboratively with the Olsen Consulting team to complete an internal Dynamics 365 implementation by Jan 1, 2022.


External Accounting & ERP Implementation Consultant duties:
-Financial analysis and Accounting engagements with clients.
-Prepare reconciliations for clients.
-Future travel opportunities to client sites in Canada and the US to complete ERP Implementations.
-Manage clients' needs and expectations to provide effective solutions and deliver exceptional client satisfaction.
-Ensure that the facilitation and implementation of the change management process is seamless.
-Assist clients with financial data migration and best practices in accordance with relevant standards.
-Recognize gaps and assist clients during User Acceptance Testing.
-Support clients in the training and adoption of these new systems.
-Collaborate directly with decision-makers to gather and analyze business requirements.
-Demonstrate the ability to align business processes and communicate with all levels of an organization with professionalism and best practice expertise.
-Write functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, and reports.

-CPA designation and 3-5+ years of accounting/finance experience
