Elevated HR Solutions

Elevated HR Solutions Learn more at www.elevatedhr.com! We're an employee experience agency. Their goal at the time was to simply “take HR out of the business”.

It's like HR, but it's elevated (get it? 😉) We help you re-imagine your people, culture programs and beyond! Elevated HR Solutions was originally designed to provide leaders and managers of small to medium sized businesses with “behind-the-scenes” HR support. employers today, so they can attract and retain extraordinary talent tomorrow. For a lot of us, the Artemis II landing is not just about space.

It is about relief.

There is pride in seeing a Canadian on this mission. There is pride in seeing a woman on this mission.

And for those who were kids in 1986, who watched Challenger and never really talked about what that did to them, this moment hits differently.

It brings back the fear.
But this time, it meets wonder.
Pride.
And maybe even a little healing.

Space has always represented possibility. For some of us, it also carried heartbreak.

Today feels like a reminder that courage still exists.
That progress still exists.

That the hard things do not always get the final word.

What a moment. 🚀

🚨 BREAKING: The Alberta government has announced updates to the Employment Standards Code.

Time to make sure your organization is ready. 👇🏼

Highlights include:
➡️ Employers can now tax employees for hitting Reply All on non-essential emails
➡️ A mandatory paid nap break for shifts over 6 hours
➡️ If a meeting is found to have actually been an email, that meeting time can now be deducted from the organizer’s pay

Happy April Fool’s Day from Elevated HR, where the real joke is still “this should only take 5 minutes.” 😅

And one actual PSA, because apparently this still needs to be said: Let’s not do pranks about layoffs, shutdowns, or people losing their jobs.

On this one, we are fully willing to be the no-fun police

We’re so excited to be partnering with once again in their search for a Document Control Coordinator ✨

One of the best parts of our work is getting to support clients through different seasons of growth and getting invited back in as they evolve.

For this role, BR2 is looking for someone who brings:

🔹 structure to a busy project environment
🔹 accuracy and strong attention to detail
🔹 follow-through on documentation, deadlines, and moving pieces
🔹 experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or design
🔹 confidence coordinating information between the studio, consultants, contractors, and clients
🔹 a calm, organized approach to keeping project documentation current and moving

There’s something really special about helping build the people, structure, and support needed for what’s next.

Excited for what’s ahead with this team! 🖤

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Elevated HR ☘️

Important question: how many people on your team wore green today?

Is this something your workplace leans into, or are you all pretending it’s just a normal Monday with slightly more shamrock energy?

We’re curious. Does your organization do anything fun for St. Patrick’s Day?

A new award category at this year’s Oscars made us perk up a bit.

Best Casting.

So basically…recruitment.

What really got us was this: the first-ever winner was Cassandra Kulukundis for One Battle After Another…and that same film also won Best Picture.

Funny how that works. 🤓

Everyone wants to talk about the star. The face of the thing. The person out front. The visible success.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, someone made a smart call on people.

Someone saw chemistry. Someone saw potential. Someone took a chance on the mix, not just the resume.

And in this case, that included casting newcomer Chase Infiniti in a pivotal debut role after an extensive search.

That’s the part we care about.

The best leaders we work with do not rush hiring just to get a body in a seat. They slow it down. They think beyond credentials and years of experience. They pay attention to chemistry, context, team dynamics, and whether someone will actually work here.

Because sourcing is one thing.

Judgment is another.

You can find candidates all day. Building the right team takes a much deeper understanding of the business, the people, and the moment.

Nice to see a little credit finally going to the decisions that happen before the spotlight.

Missed the blood moon?
Slept through the alarm?
Pretended you “totally saw it” this morning?

Don’t worry. We’ve got you. 🌕

Last night was the only total lunar eclipse of 2026.

Translation: the moon went full dramatic red because Earth slid perfectly between the sun and the moon, casting a shadow and filtering the light. That deep red glow? It’s basically every sunrise and sunset on Earth bending toward the moon at once.

Nature showing off. Again.

So if this comes up at coffee today, you’re ready!

By now you’ve probably seen the headlines.

Anthropic.
OpenAI.
Big moves.

Before we go anywhere else:

🚫 Not a political post.
🚫 Not choosing sides.
🚫 Not “just an American issue.”

AI infrastructure is global. Most HR tech touches one of these companies whether you realize it or not.

Let’s simplify.

OpenAI = the company behind ChatGPT.
If you’re drafting policies, summarizing ER notes, building interview guides, or analyzing engagement data…you’re using OpenAI.

Anthropic = the company behind Claude. Some HR teams use it for long policy review, contract analysis, and nuanced documentation work. They’ve publicly positioned themselves as more tightly constrained in high-risk use cases.

What surfaced this weekend?

2 companies.
2 different risk appetites.
2 different guardrail philosophies.

We’re not debating who’s better.

We’re asking: does this matter for HR?

The answer is “yes”.

Because you sit at the intersection of:
• Data privacy
• Vendor selection
• Governance
• Workforce trust
• Technology adoption

If you or your team can’t clearly explain:
→ What OpenAI is
→ What Anthropic is
→ What Claude is
→ How their guardrails differ
→ Why that might influence vendor choice

That’s a fluency gap.

AI is infrastructure now. And infrastructure decisions are leadership decisions.

Stop treating AI like a shortcut tool. Start treating it like a strategic capability.

Want to build your AI fluency inside HR and leadership?

Keep following!

The world is LOUD right now.

Opinions louder than facts.
Outrage louder than nuance.
Everything urgent. Everything breaking.

And then there’s Punch 🐒

A tiny macaque who went viral for clinging to a giant stuffed orangutan after being rejected by his mom.

That could’ve been the whole story.

But plot twist.

He’s now playing with other monkeys.
Making real connections.
Slowly, awkwardly, bravely figuring it out.

Resilience doesn’t always look bold.
Sometimes it looks like holding onto something soft while you rebuild your courage.

Sometimes it’s one small step back toward connection.

So if this week felt amplified, chaotic, or just heavy, here’s your reminder:

Healing isn’t loud.
Growth isn’t linear.
Progress can start small.

And yes… if you haven’t gone down the Punch TikTok hole yet, you’re about to.

You’re welcome 😂
