We appreciate the opportunity, thank you!

Grateful to all the Farriers out there, and happy that we get to help your day be better to you, even a little bit. Now, back to the grind!

Hello everyone,
As you may have heard, Rick, the founder of Hall Knife & Forge, who finally got to retire in 2024
passed away this Friday, peacefully in his sleep.

He was proud to have been part of this community and it is always humbling & amazing to see why: his wife and family, as well as us here at the shop, truly appreciate the kind words, condolences and stories that have already been coming through 🩵

His family wanted us to pass along that his obituary is to be posted with the Calgary Herald on Tuesday, March 17th* and that online there will be a link to McInnis and Holloway where you can share some of your own stories about Rick. He collected alot of them over his life.

Thank you all,

Dean Goffinet

Thanks again to all of you who have emailed, called and just come into the shop to have a chat about him. -Dean
