I’m grateful for the people who make life and business meaningful - clients, colleagues, friends, family, and everyone who continues to support and encourage me along the way.
Running a business is about more than reaching goals. It’s about the relationships we build, the trust people place in us, and the opportunity to make a difference through the work we do.
I hope you get a chance to slow down, enjoy time with the people you love, and appreciate how far you’ve come.

I’ve just completed the recording of my presentation, “Strength-Based Leadership for Small Employers,” as part of the Workplace Culture Enhancement Program.

This initiative is focused on helping Central Alberta businesses and employers build stronger, healthier, and more practical workplace cultures.

A special thank you to Michelle Loomis for inviting me to be part of this program and for creating opportunities for those of us who work with small businesses to share practical tools and ideas that can make a real difference.

For me, this is about more than building leadership skills. Small businesses often don't have the resources or financial capacity of larger organizations yet the people within them have a huge impact on the success of the business.

Helping employers recognize strengths, improve how they lead, and create workplaces where people can contribute at their best is work I'm proud to be part of.

The recording will be available to view an early November - I'll share the details when available. I'm looking forward to seeing this program continue to support businesses and employers across central alberta. Thank you for the opportunity Michelle!

One of the greatest privileges of the work I do is being invited into my clients' businesses at such an important stage of their journey.

I get a front-row seat to their ideas, their challenges, their determination, and the incredible amount of work they put in behind the scenes. Watching that clarity grow into confidence and a strategic plan is something I'll never take for granted.

I'm especially proud of Theresa and everything she accomplished through the Community Futures EDP Program. Her dedication, willingness to challenge her own thinking, and commitment to building something truly impactful have been inspiring to watch.

A lot of people assume business coaching is about having all the answers.

It isn't.

Most of the time, it's about asking the right questions.

My clients already have amazing ideas. They know their passions, their skills, and what they want to create. Sometimes they just need a space to unpack it all and make sense of what's swirling around in their heads.

Today, a client sent me this message after our first session:

"Thanks Brenda! You made my day! That was an awesome first session. It feels great to dissect and sort my ideas out. Looking forward to next week."

Reading that reminded me why I love this work.

Watching someone gain clarity, confidence, and momentum never gets old.
