Some of you already know that fall is my absolute favourite time of the year. I love when the leaves turn golden, the air gets crisp, there’s that gentle smell of smoke in the air, and the sky starts to feel a little more moody and dreamy.
This is my cozy season — the time when I want to meet new families around Calgary, and capture all those little moments that make this time of year so special.
I would love to capture your kids’ giggles, families wrapped up in warm hugs, little hands holding onto yours, couples falling in love all over again..

As photographers, we often find inspiration in unexpected places—movies, travel, nature, art, cultures, or even a single image that sparks something inside us.

Just the other day, I was looking through the inspiration guide for an upcoming Canon event Canon Canada I registered for organized by Socality The guide featured different style directions: denim , gypsy, western chic, boho, and more. Without even thinking twice, I immediately gravitated toward the gypsy-inspired mood boards . Some things simply call to us because they’re already part of who we are.

This gallery is inspired by the upcoming Stampede season here in Calgary 🤠, blending western cowgirl style with gypsy influences and the warmth of Arabic textiles and desert memories. At first glance, these worlds may seem very different, but for me, they all feel connected.

I’ve always been drawn to gypsy lifestyle, Spanish music, rich colours, storytelling, and the beauty of Arabic heritage. When I moved to Western Canada, there was a period when I felt disconnected from those influences that shaped me. I admired the western culture around me, but I wasn’t quite sure where I fit within it.

Over time, photography helped me find that answer. 📸

Instead of choosing one identity or one source of inspiration, I learned to blend them all together.

Through my work, I can embrace every place I’ve lived, every culture that has touched my life, and every experience that has shaped how I see the world.

I think that’s one of the most beautiful things about being an artist: we don’t have to fit into a single box. We get to create our own visual language.

Today marks four years since I arrived to Canada🇨🇦

Over these years, life has taken me on an incredible journey. I’ve met wonderful people, built meaningful friendships, and had the privilege of documenting countless stories through my camera. Some people have become part of my life, while others have moved on to new chapters of their own. Every encounter, every conversation, and every experience has shaped who I am today.

And for all of it,I am deeply grateful.Alhamdulillah🌸

One of the greatest gifts of being a photographer is witnessing families grow over time. This beautiful family has been part of my journey since the very beginning. Looking through my images of them feels like flipping through a living family album—one chapter leading to the next, year after year.

Now, as summer unfolds around us and nature bursts into bloom, they are preparing to welcome another precious addition to their family.

There is something so special about pregnancy during flower season. Everywhere you look, life is emerging, growing, and transforming. The same excitement can be felt within a family awaiting a new baby. Parents dream of the future, siblings wonder who this little person will be, and everyone eagerly anticipates the beginning of a brand-new chapter.

Standing among the blossoms, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much can change in four years. New dreams, new friendships, new beginnings, and now another little life ready to enter the world.

Canada has become a place I am proud to call another home, and families like this one are a big reason why. Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with your memories, welcomed me into your lives, and allowed me to witness your stories unfold.

Here’s to growth, gratitude, new beginnings, and the beautiful seasons of life that continue to surprise us.

There’s something truly special about bringing creative people together in one space—and this photography workshop in was exactly that ✨

Hosted at , I had the chance to work with an incredible group of participants, a beautiful couple, and a talented model. What stood out the most to me was how each photographer brought their own unique vision to the session. No two perspectives were the same—everyone saw, framed, and captured moments through their own artistic lens, and the results were honestly so inspiring.

The couple we worked with was absolutely amazing. They were so natural in front of the camera, it didn’t feel like posing at all—it felt like witnessing them fall in love over and over again with every shot. Those genuine эмоtions made the entire experience even more magical.

I’m beyond grateful for everyone who joined and shared their creativity, energy, and passion. The other day I walked into a café that felt different from the moment I stepped inside.

You know those places where the atmosphere just feels warm and real? This was one of them.

The walls were filled with beautiful artwork of , and I later learned that the artist behind it is the father of the café owner. While I was there, I watched him quietly taking care of the guests, greeting people, making sure everyone felt welcome. There was something so genuine about the way he moved around the space.

At one point I asked him if he was the owner.
He smiled and said with pride, “No, it’s my son.”

That small moment stayed with me.

Because suddenly this café wasn’t just a café anymore. It was a story about family, about legacy, about a father who helped build the soul of the place and a son who carries it forward.

Places like this remind me that businesses are not only about what they sell. They’re about people, stories, and the love that lives inside the walls.
