Being a business owner or ‘solo-preneur’ can be very rewarding but it’s not without its challenges. Hiring, firing, building a team, building a culture, learning the business, doing the business and even more challenging sometimes, getting the business. It can also be a lonley game. Who do you turn to with your questions and challenges? Even your wins? Your customers or clients?? Probably not. Your competition?? Maybe but we doubt it.

So what about aligning yourself with a few dozen like minded people that meet twice a month? Twice a month to share ideas, challenges, learn from each other while building professional relationships and personal friendships. It’s like hiring a sales team of 25 people working hard to send you your ideal customers. It’s like having a panel of business coaches. It’s like having a panel of therapists. And there’s also a special feeling and something very powerful to be able to introduce your people to experts that are some of the very best in their field. To refer with confidence and that they are in the right hands.

Had a great REN’tentions meeting this morning! With special guest speaker Kimberly Ho with Koniva Consulting and HR, along with our very own Kellie Mallette from Headquarters Inc. To discuss the challenges in todays landscape from an employers perspective. How to efficiently and effectively hire a winning team that fits not only your business, but your business culture too!
We all learned so much! Our group has always taken the “pushing people up” mentality and the questions, solutions and ideas, as usual flowed like our coffee did.
