Post-match fight report against Tantrum: It was a great experience fighting against Tantrum and giving them air flight during the fight. The main reason behind our defeat is to break down of our drive gears. The pushing force of the tantrum was hard enough to break our drive gears and eventually, ATOM #94 lost its motion. After that point, we were not able to dodge tantrum and its last hit that made us upside down.

As it was our debut at BATTLEBOTS, we get to learn so many things that should have been implemented. Even we couldn’t believe what just happened in the match. The main reason we found after the detailed evaluation was the disconnection of two of the motor controllers during the transition period between the Box test and the Match. That is the reason why our fierce weapon and drive became problematic from the beginning of the match. It was our biggest mistake that we missed on the checklist of the strength of controller’s connection in the process of quick assembling and last-minute weight management. Congratulations to the Big Dill and it was a great learning experience for us about the reliability of the robot.
