ON BEING THERE WHEN THEY NEED YOU

My Surgery had been rescheduled due to Covid, so when July came, it was conflicting with a commitment I’d made to help a team clarify their strategy. But as we did the work in the weeks preceding my operation, it was clear I needed to be there. So the day after I returned from the hospital I led 2 full day sessions from my bedroom. It was a logical extension of the work and an authentic, unavoidable role I was honoured to fill. The team has trusted me for over 5 years and I care about them.
