Today was Multicultural Day at work, and it was such a beautiful celebration of the cultures, traditions, and stories that make our community so special. ❤️🌎

We were encouraged to wear traditional clothing and bring food to share for a potluck.

As someone who came to Canada from the Philippines as a child, days like today remind me how grateful I am for both the culture I was born into and the country I now call home. 🇵🇭🇨🇦

I love learning about the traditions, foods, and experiences that have shaped the people around me. It's a reminder that while our backgrounds may be different, there's so much that connects us.

And of course, no multicultural celebration would be complete without amazing food. 😋🍽️

Grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our differences, learn from one another, and appreciate the unique cultures that make our communities richer, stronger, and more vibrant.

(And yes, I definitely went back for seconds. 😉)

One thing I've learned from building a business:

The people who seem the most confident often have the same doubts as everyone else.

The difference?

They keep moving anyway.

If you're waiting until you feel completely ready, completely qualified, or completely fearless... you'll be waiting a long time.

Trust yourself a little more.

You probably know more than you think.
You've probably come further than you realize.

And someone out there is looking at your journey wondering how you do it all. ❤️

The twins have their year-end daycare celebration today and we were asked to bring a healthy snack. 🍎🍌

So there I was at the grocery store, wandering the aisles, trying to figure out what counts as "healthy" while simultaneously avoiding buying snacks for myself. 😂

Then it hit me...

I have bananas at home.

Banana bread muffins to the rescue! 🙌🏼

Nothing makes you feel more like you've got your life together than remembering ingredients you already own before buying more. 🤣

Now I'm curious...

By the end of the day, we're running on faith, teamwork, and whatever willpower is still left in our system.

But honestly, I wouldn't trade it.

Building a business together while raising a family isn't always glamorous.

Some days it's laptops, diapers, meetings, snacks, and trying to finish a conversation before someone needs something. 😅

But there's nobody I'd rather build this life with.

Grateful for a partner who works hard, shows up for our family, and somehow still makes me laugh after a long day.

Now if you'll excuse us, we're off to recharge our batteries and prepare for whatever adventure the twins have planned for tomorrow. ❤️

My twins spent 20 minutes chasing bubbles this weekend.

Falling down.
Missing most of them.
Running in circles.

And yet somehow they had more confidence than most adults considering a new opportunity. 😂🫧

Maybe the secret is to stop worrying about looking silly and start having fun with the process.

Because whether it's bubbles or business...

You miss 100% of the ones you don't chase. 😉
