Terroir Symposium is returning to Calgary in 2024 with a fresh concept. Terroir 2024: The Series will unfold in two segments. Part 1: Nourishing the Future, is scheduled for May 25 & 26. The event kicks off with a lively Kitchen Party on Saturday evening, followed by a day filled with stimulating discussions and engaging workshops on the 26th. Attendees can look forward to delectable pop-up breakfast and lunch options, along with a Sweet Reception to cap off the day.

Airdrie Economic Development is expanding the economic impact of its local food system in culinary and agri-tourism using community-based initiatives that connect culinary stakeholders.

We are looking for independent restaurant owners, bakeries, farmers, local farmers market vendors, breweries and craft beverages producers, bed and breakfast hosts with food services, food-related events, chefs, and home based food artisans of all ethnic or cultural backgrounds to get involved with our planning.

In case you haven't heard, our Dine Around festival Alberta on the Plate is back for its third year with even more participating restaurants! From August 6 to 15, almost 90 restaurants in 27 cities across the province will be showcasing fixed price menus highlighting local farms, producers, and processors.
