Our clientele is varied, ranging from the general public to specialized professionals such as cab

inet makers, tailors, heating and plumbing contractors, animal groomers, and window manufacturers. Restaurants are often amongst our customers as well

We guarantee our work, and employ extremely qualified sharpening technicians. We have been in business over 25 years and still serve many of our original customers. At Cal Don we pay great attention to the smallest details. Fast turnaround time and competitive prices as well as our personable, friendly, prompt service have kept our customers coming back since day one. We have a retail location open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. We typically have a 3-day turnaround, and set aside time each day for those last minute rushes that need same day service. Can’t make it to our store? We have drop off locations throughout Calgary for your convenience. If you’re from out of town we do mail orders and use couriers to provide you with our quality service.

Any day that is going rough, all I need to do is spend a couple of minutes with her and it brings a smile to my face and makes the day so much brighter.. If you come to the shop and she barks just know she is doing her job... we have a gate to keep you separated and she likes to say Hi😊

Sorry but we do not sharpen manual push (reel type) mower blades.... We do however sharpen electric and gas mower blades.. You must remove the blade from the machine before bringing it in for sharpening.. We also sharpen all types of gardening tools

Just reaching out to say that we are open for business during this stressful time. As a small business we have little choice! We also truly understand and commend you if you are isolating during the COVID 19 situation.

This is normally our busy time of the year, the same green stuff will come up from the ground and the same tools will need to be serviced. If you need something sharp we are open 9-4 M-F.

We have set up safety barriers in our shop to help keep up safe. We encourage contact free (tap) payment
