Occupations include:

🇨🇦Agri-Food Pilot Immigration Update

Temporary workers in the Agri-Food Sector in Canada will greatly benefit from these changes. Their working conditions and their pay are not very attractive, but they have to stay, work, and survive in order to meet the requirement for permanent residency.

To all my clients who have been struggling to secure a Job Offer, I'm so happy that you now have the option to choose the educational requirement to be eligible to apply for PR.

⚠️ As of February 10, 2024, IRCC has introduced the following changes:

📌applicants who reside in Canada when they submit their application may now choose to meet EITHER the JOB OFFER requirement or the EDUCATIONAL requirement

📌IRCC now counts work experience gained under an open work permit for vulnerable foreign workers towards the work experience requirement

📌IRCC is accepting applications until May 14, 2025

If you know someone temporarily working in the Agri-Food Sector in Canada, and need any immigration guidance under the Agri-Food Pilot, I can be reached through [email protected].

🇨🇦 New Pathway to Permanent Residency for Essential Temporary Workers and International Graduates 🇨🇦

Effective May 6, 2021 until November 5, 2021, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will begin accepting applications under the following 3 streams:

👉 20,000 applications for temporary workers in health care (40 health-care occupations)
👉 30,000 applications for temporary workers in other selected essential occupations (95 other essential jobs across a range of fields, like caregiving and food production and distribution)
👉 40,000 applications for international students who graduated from a Canadian institution

Today Minister Mendicino announced a new pathway to permanent residence for over 90,000 essential workers and international student graduates who are actively contributing to Canada’s economy.

Starting May 6, 2021, this pathway will allow eligible international graduates, who studied in Canada, as well as temporary workers in health care and other essential occupations, to apply for permanent residence.

We will accept applications under these policies from May 6 - November 5 2021, or until a program stream has reached its limit:
• 20,000 temporary foreign workers in health care
• 30,000 temporary foreign workers in selected essential occupations
• 40,000 international graduates

Please note: to support the vitality of Francophone minority communities, 3 additional streams with no application limit have also been launched for French-speaking or bilingual candidates.
