It is often said that if you wish to enjoy the nice cooling shade of a tree today, you should have planted it 20 years ago. Today is an extra special day as we celebrate our 20 year business anniversary, because we have had the fortune to plant that seed and watch it grow over the last two decades.
Many people have asked about our origin story. Yet, it was not a single instance. I was barely a teenager when I started my entrepreneurial journey. I simply had an internal drive to make my mark in the world and build a life worth living, while helping others in achieving their dreams creating positive change. I did not know business terminology, I had no fancy financial acumen, I did not even know that human resources was a field of work. I just followed a path that was opened before me with different opportunities and built my knowledge one step at a time.
Today, our honey lemon tree of knowledge not only provides shade for us. It acts as an invisible shield to protect our community against the harsh heat, rains, and headwinds as entrepreneurship can be a tough path. Its impact is felt in how people choose to stand under its large leafy branches and enjoy the supportive company of fellow business leaders. Honiva is a place to dream big, confide fears, and receive help to move forward in strength. Thank you to each person who made this day possible, whether they are still working or happily retired and enjoying the fruits of their labour.
As we step into the next decade a new shift is underfoot. Honiva is continuing to evolve, so we can provide a deeper level of support to growing companies.
