5 things we’ve stopped normalizing as Canadian parents in 2026👇🏻
1: Working harder every year while feeling like we’re getting further behind.
2: Accepting that burnout is just the price of providing for a family.
3: Missing the moments that matter because we’re too busy trying to keep up with bills, groceries, and gas.
4: Saying “one day” to the things that could genuinely change our future.
5: Believing that more hours is the only way to create more income.
We’re not looking for a bigger house or a fancier car.
We’re looking for breathing room.
More presence with our kids and more freedom to be the parents we want to be.
We’ve realized those things don’t usually happen by accident. They happen when we’re willing to stop accepting what everyone else says is normal.
If you’re tired of survival mode and ready for change, comment BUILD and we’ll share what’s been working for our family for long term impact.
✨
Cheers,
Breanne (+ David)❤️
