Since 2003, Certified Alarms and Surveillance (CAI) has been helping secure our community, specializing in 4 areas: IP Surveillance, Intrusion alarm install and monitoring, ULC Fire signaling, and Access Control Systems. Our target market consists of small to medium size businesses including commercial, industrial and oil and gas solutions. We are looking for a full time Office Administrator to meet or exceed client expectations.
This full-time position requires a highly organized individual with the skills necessary to deliver a high level of service to both customers and staff, in a timely and efficient manner. This goal-oriented, self-motivated individual will be instrumental in helping CAI operate with the highest standards of integrity. They are instrumental in assisting CAI Management and customers, operating within the company’s guidelines.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
• Primarily office functions: to be the front-line for customers and CAI technicians
• Keeping communications between office and technicians in the field
• Overseeing and managing all jobs and projects assigned to technicians, including scheduling jobs, ordering parts, and communicating with technical support.
• Creating and checking work orders, ensuring accuracy and completion
• Completing jobs within given time frame, to the complete satisfaction of customers
• Building proposals / presentation folders
• Answering and addressing customer queries by phone and email
• Opening new customer accounts
• Updating customer files and accounts
• Updating internal documents
• Post installation customer surveys
• Lead Generation Follow-up
• Assisting with Hiring of Technicians / New hires
Qualifications:
• Must have 5+ years industry experience
• Able to work independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Security Systems (Intrusion, Surveillance and Access Control, ULC Fire Monitoring)
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Smart Draw
• Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills
• Post-Secondary education, or equivalent job experience accepted
• Excellent organizational Skills, and capable of multi-tasking
