It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Neil Trevanion Howard Empson, our beloved Chairman and Co-Founder, on September 14, 2024, at the age of 85. Neil’s extraordinary vision and passion shaped the global wine industry, pioneering the export of fine Italian wines to North America and beyond.

From humble beginnings in Milan with his wife, Maria, to becoming a champion of quality wines from regions around the world, Neil’s legacy lives on in every bottle, every vineyard, and every connection he fostered.

Neil’s unwavering dedication to family, excellence, and innovation continues to inspire us all. Our thoughts are with Maria, Tara, Tracy, Paul, and all who knew and loved him.
