We had to purchase a new TIG welder this week. Even machines only have so much life to give.

We looked at the market to see what was available since the last TIG machine we bought was over 25 years ago.

As a Canadian owned and operated business, our choices have always been to try and buy North American made first. We are proud to say we purchased a brand new CANAWELD welder, made in Vaughan, Ontario!

With the holiday season here, our celebrations might look different this year, we'll all be looking forward to some time with loved ones - in-person or virtually.

This has been an unusual last 12 months to say the least, but we're looking forward to the new year and celebrating our 30th year in business.

As some of you may know we are in the build built by the Stephenson family - owners of the Stephenson machine shop. They built the shop approximately 135 years ago with the pattern shop on the second floor and the machine shop on the main level.

The bay where we house our 3 VMC 6030 Cnc milling machine centers still has the ceiling mounts and wheel wells for the old belt drive equipment that was leading edge technology at the time.

Over the last thirty years we have grown and developed new processes and molding techniques for our technologically advanced customers.

Jimmy and I would like to extend a Merry Christmas and healthy, prosperous New Year to you all.

We thank you all customers and vendors for your support over the last 30 years, and look forward to contributing to your continued success!

Royal Pattern Industries Ltd. is looking for a Mold maker to join our team as we enter our 30th year as a Canadian owned manufacturer for the rotational, vacuum and compression form industries.
Prospective candidates;
- must have experience in working with mild steel, billet aluminum and cast aluminum.
- must be able to read drawings, work independently and meet deadlines.
- must be capable of using various hand tools drills, mills and grinders.
- must be able to use polishing tools, for manual and machine finishing.
- must be able to welding, using MIG welders, and TIG welding an asset.

We are offering a full time position (40 hours per week) with a benefit package after 3 months in this family owned and operated business please forward your CV and references.

We can program and cut round and square tubing adding pierced holes, engrave part numbers, notches and miners for a perfect fit. Watch the video for a cycle!
