Does anyone recognize this fella? If you guessed Mitch the Machinist you’d be right! If you remember Mitch is our CMW mascot. He’s growing up and his leg has completely healed. Even though he’s a steer he will live his days out on the farm as he’s a big old pet now (along with his buddies Turtle and Mandy Baby but don’t tell Steve! 😉

We would like to humbly thank everyone for their support, kind words, phone calls, texts and visits during this difficult time. We are amazed at the outpouring of care and sympathy for Dans family and for our staff. This is a great community we live in!

Funeral service for Dan will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Camrose. In honour of Dan, the family asks to wear your favourite camo attire if you choose to do so

Thank you to everyone once again. As we said before, there is a void that will be hard to fill but we know Dan will be with us to guide us through.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of one of our own, Dan Halback.

Dan was an incredible machinist, foreman, coworker, and friend, but most importantly, a devoted husband to his wife, Angela, a proud father to his daughter Haley, and his son Cody who he worked side by side with.

Our hearts go out to Cody, Dans’ families, friends and to all who knew him. He will be remembered for his professionalism, stories, and friendship.

There will be a void that won’t be easy to fill

At this difficult time we ask for your patience and kindness in the following days as we process our grief.

We would like to inform our customers and suppliers that Camrose Machine and Welding will be closed due to unforeseen circumstances,all day, Monday June 22.
