A new espresso blend is being served at our cafe in Carbonear this weekend. Espresso Suave…chocolate, sweet fruit jam, and a great full, creamy body. A blend of Brazilian beans from small private farms with outstanding quality. Be sure to drop by this weekend and check out that flavour! Also on the menu today is the return of a great hand pie. A take on the famous French stew Coq au Vin!

Ray Dwyer of the Red Ochre Cafe presented Charis Cotter and Bren Follett a cheque for $500 for ongoing boardwalk repairs. Ray was recently presented with the Step Up Award from NAPE recognizing union members who go above and beyond in their community. NAPE has donated two awards of $500 each to two charities of his choice, one being the Western Bay Boardwalk.

Thank you Ray! Your ongoing help is much appreciated. This donation comes at a time when we can really use it to help with clean-up and repairs to the boardwalk after the damage from the wildfires last year.
