After many years of coaching riders and training horses, I’ve learned that confidence isn’t just about being brave. It’s about understanding the connection between you and your horse and learning tools to manage nerves and communicate clearly helping you and your horse change together. Reach out if I can assist you with this in lessons, group lessons or even a clinic. As a mobile coach I can go to you!!!

💙 Meet the Team | Dr. Glenys Biblow, Veterinarian

Originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Dr. Glenys Biblow has proudly called Alberta home for over five years. Her journey into veterinary medicine has taken her across borders, including a year-long clinical placement at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in Indiana. In May 2024, Glenys achieved a major milestone, graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Her professional interests include sports medicine, internal medicine, and endoscopy, with a strong passion for helping horses perform and feel their best. Growing up in the barrel racing world, Glenys was first introduced to Energy Equine as a client and later joined our team as an assistant before heading to vet school. Now, we are thrilled to have her return as a veterinarian on our team.
Outside of work, Glenys enjoys spending time outdoors with her fiancé, relaxing with a good book, and hanging out with her island cat, Ria. After completing a year long equine-specific internship with Energy Equine, she is continuing with our practice as an Associate Veterinarian. She is excited to continue growing her skills, surrounded by the support and mentorship of the Energy team.

We are so incredibly grateful to have Dr. Glenys as part of the Energy Equine family. Her dedication, compassion, and genuine love for both horses and their people make her such a wonderful addition to our practice and community. 💙

We’re Hiring: Head Technician (Sports Medicine) 🐴🩺

Energy Equine and Synergy Equine are growing and we’ve carved out a brand new role to match our momentum. This is not a corrective or gap filling position. Our team is strong and we’re looking for someone who aligns with us, leads with purpose, and helps elevate our Sports Medicine department.

Who you are:
✔️ A licensed RVT (ABVMA, good standing)
✔️ 5+ years in equine practice or applicable equestrian experience
✔️ A proven leader who has managed direct reports. Approachable, trustworthy, decisive, kind
✔️ Present, communicative, and ready to be the go-to for staff, systems, and culture

The role:
📅 Full-time, Monday to Friday with flexibility as the position evolves
- Able to travel weekly to Energy Equine in Airdrie and Synergy Equine in Dewinton
- Not tied to a single veterinarian. You’ll be a visible presence on the floor with a strong grasp of daily operations to support the entire Sports Medicine team
- Lead teams, oversee compliance, manage equipment, train new staff, and provide leadership support
- Shape a role created from growth with real opportunity to make an impact

Why join us?
Be part of a thriving, collaborative, progressive team that values trust, growth, and innovation in equine sports medicine 🌱
