Well this was a big project, and the last one for Kootenay excavations. We are finally through the legal process and are moving into a new company name, logo and outlook. We moved a lot of material, broke through a mountain of rock, utilized a lot of material to reclaim the illegal access that was there before and got some grass growing! Quite a transformation. Looking at cleaning up and developing a previously logged piece of property? Here are some before and after pictures. Slash burned off, area raked out and cleaned up. We can take care of all your development needs. Now on to the bulk earth moving. 2200 cubic meters to load, haul, place and compact. Stay tuned

We are getting ready for some dirt moving on this project at last. Engineered drawings and MOTI permits in place. Survey team on site laying out the road while we unload some 16” culverts for highway access. Rock truck, packer and 15 ton excavator mob in next week! Well it’s a new year… Next site is underway! Ministry of transportation and infrastructure placed a stop work order on this property for an unsafe access! (Not by us) We are here to get things rolling again so our customer can get back to their building plans for the spring. Engineering firm is in the final stages of drafting the access as we get ahead on the tree work! Almost all of these fir trees were leaning over the main transmission line feeding Crawford bay and Riondel. Step one complete! Rock truck comes next! Give our page a follow!
